Hello there, my name is Max! My family found IG Rescue for me because I did not have enough room to play at my house. My mom said that the yard was too small for such an active dog as me. I missed my old family, but the best was yet to come...

I went to live with Niki and her crew, and had such fun! My foster mom Niki said that I had about ten times as much energy as any IG she had ever met! My foster dad Bob told me that I was such a good boy... he fell head over heels for me!

One day, a nice man stopped by our house while I was busy playing with all of our friends. He played with me and told me how great I was, and that I was exactly what he was looking for! He was so happy to meet me and treated me so nice... but then he left, and I was so sad that he didn't take me home! My foster mom told me that I had to be patient and wait for his home check first. What's a home check, I wondered?!

A few weeks later, we went on a long car trip, and when we stopped, I was thrilled to see the same man there! I dashed right over to him and proceeded to kiss him all over. I knew that I wanted him to be my dad!

My foster mom and dad stayed with me and my new dad for a long time... then they went home and left me behind! At first, I was a little confused... but then, I realized what a great thing it was to be the only dog, and I was ecstatic!

My new dad takes me everywhere! He even takes me to SCHOOL, and we are proud to report that I am a fast learned, one of the best in my class! People are always stopping us when we take our walks and asking him all about me. Everyone gushes over what a handsome little guy I am, and I must admit that I agree! I am one spoiled Iggy, and I love every minute of it!
