Hi, my name is Zeppy! When I came into Rescue, I had a foster mom named Meredith in Denver. I loved living at her place... she had lots of Iggies for me to play with, and she was so good to me! I stayed with Meredith for quite a while and was just beginning to wonder if she was my permanent mommy, when Niki called and said that she knew of a great home that was looking for a boy just like ME! |

I came to live with my new mommy and daddy in August 1999, and they were smitten with me right away! Of course, when I'm as adorable as this (see my "relaxed" pose, to the left), how could they help it?! I have a bed all to myself... am I one lucky Iggy or what?! |

I also have a new sister named Cassidy... she is adorable, and BIG! She is like a big fuzzy blankie for me... I like her very much, and I think she'll tell you that I'm okay with her, too! Here we are snuggling (right), our typical pastime! |

I also have brother and sister bunny rabbits named Freddie and Frannie, but mom says I get too carried away when they're around, so I'm not allowed to play with them just yet! |

My new mommy and daddy are so good to me, and I am so happy in my new home! A big wagwagwag of my tail goes out to them, and to IG Rescue! |

Update - August 2002 |
|||
My sister Cassidy went to the Rainbow Bridge a little while back, and I missed her company terribly. Mom decided that we should adopt another IG... and here is my new sister Ruby! | ![]() |

Ruby was a puppymill matron at an Amish farm before she was rescued. A wonderful friend of IG Rescue, Kelly Graham, fostered three of the former mill matrons... Ruby, Treasure and Timber. Ruby came to live with us, Treasure went to another wonderful family in Pittsburgh, and Kelly adopted Timber... and in July 2002, all three were reunited at the IG Rescue Parade in Canfield! Since Ruby has come to live with us, she is learning more every day about being a much-loved pet. Mom and I both feel very lucky to have adopted this very sweet and beautiful girl!! Update: From Ruby, November 2002: Mom says that she is so happy with how I'm coming along that she wanted to let everybody know! The past few weeks, there has been a noticeable change in my reaction to men coming into the house. Mom thinks it might have had something to do with some work we were having done in the house; workmen were coming in and out so often that maybe I just started getting used to them. Now, when men come into the house, I come to sniff and check them out! "The little lady is realizing that the goodies taste just as good when she gets them from men," says mom. Yippee! |
