Here are some movies that I rated on the Internet Movie Database (click here to see a list of movies I reviewed). Sometimes I remember to rate a movie and sometimes I forget, and now I can't remember why I gave some of these the ratings that I did because when I look at them all grouped together like this, it's hard to remember why I gave Shakespeare in Love a "10." Or even why I gave The Producers a "10." I guess it just comes down to politics: I'd like others to take my recommendations and see movies that I think should get more recognition, so I might give a movie a higher score based on some intangeable wonderfulness that I felt for it. I could never convince anyone that The Producers is as good as Citizen Kane or Casablanca, but it would be fun if more people could sing, "Springtime for Hitler."
