Total shite.

I read some review of this that got me really excited about seeing it, but Christ-on-bike, this is a god-awful piece of crap. It's not funny, the soccer/football action sequences are cut so that you can't even tell if anyone has any ability to play, and the premise of David Hemmings getting in deep with mob bookies is ludicrous: are we supposed to cheer when his Saab gets blown up at the end?

This is a clumsy, unfunny mess, completely lacking any charm. Right, Bob? Right, Bob.
