What the hell happened to Sleepy Hollow?

What the hell is Miranda Richardson doing at the end of the movie? She's there, at the end, defying Ichabod or Bond or Harry Potter to destroy her:

"The only way to destroy me is to insert your index finger into your nostril.
But Ichabod/Mr. Bond/Harry Potter, you cannot insert your index finger into your nostril because your mother taught you to never pick your nose in front of others.
And here I am! Right here, in front of you! And the one thing you cannot do in front of another person is the one thing which is sure to destroy me!
Ha! Ha! Ha!
Wait! What are you doing? Put that finger away. Get the finger out of there! Do not stick that finger in your nose! No! Noooooo!!!!"

Or something like that. I don't really remember the ending...
