The Biblical Doctrine of Sin

Sin is a word and a concept that is slowly beginning to lose its meaning.  The reason, quite simply, is if sin can be nullified of its meaning, then actions and behaviors that were once considered “sinful” will no longer be so considered.

Fortunately—perhaps unfortunately for the sinner—God doesn’t go by human definitions of sin.  For God, sin is literally black and white.  For God, sin is anything that defies His revealed will and decrees.

Below are some links to articles I’ve written regarding the concept of sin.  The subjects are somewhat arranged in a “journalistic” fashion (i.e., they consider the “who, what, when, where why” of sin).  I hope they provide useful to one’s understanding of the Biblical doctrine of sin.  Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions regarding these articles.
