Chapter 5

When she felt Steve’s lips begin to kiss her, she just froze up inside. She had no idea what was happening, let alone what to do. She could feel herself physically shaking, she was so nervous. God, she’d never kissed a boy in her life. What do you do? What are you supposed to do?!!

It was all shock- that’s what it was. Shock that oh my God, I’m having my first kiss! And I’m not prepared, I’m not ready, but suddenly, oh my God- his mouth’s on mine!

It was also the shock of who WAS kissing her. Steve- Becky’s boyfriend! The boyfriend she’d gone out with last night, who she’d slept with last night, who she’d kissed goodbye just a few minutes ago!

He was kissing her now. HER.

And she’d never experienced anything like this before. She’d always imagined what it would be like, she’d read about it in books, and seen it on TV, and God, she saw it with Becky all the time. But now it was happening to her- and all her images of what it would be like were pushed to the back of her mind with the startling reality of it all.

His lips were so warm. Really, really warm. And whatever he was dong felt so different and strange…

She wasn’t sure whether she liked it yet. And she thought that when someone kissed you, you were supposed to respond? It came naturally, or something?

Well, I’m not doing anything, she thought worriedly. I just seem to have turned into a mannequin.

Suddenly remembering that she kinda needed to breathe otherwise there’s be an unconscious body on the floor, and realising that she needed a pause anyway- she somehow managed to push Steve’s body, which he had attached really close to hers, away from her.

His lips broke off hers, and she could feel herself rushing for air. She seemed to come back to her senses again, back into the kitchen.

How fast her heart was beating suddenly hit her. She realised she was uncomfortably hot, and her chest was screaming for some oxygen. She gladly gave it some, whilst at the same time trying to relax, to cool the other two symptoms down.

But Steve still having his arms wrapped around her was NOT helping.

“Why did you stop for?” He asked her, and then he did NOT help improve things by putting her hands inside the top at the back, so he could touch her skin. In fact, that sudden pressure on her back made her want to bolt.

“H-huh?” She said.

“Why did you stop?” He asked, looking at her.

I didn’t think I’d even begun, she thought.

“Steve…” She suddenly realised she didn’t know what to say. This was all too much! So many things happening at once, she didn’t know where to turn.

“Liz- shhhh,” he said, and before she knew where she was, he leant down and to started to kiss her again.

“No Steve, stop it,” she said, pushing him off. She couldn’t deal with that, that feeling she got when he kissed her again, just yet.

“What’s the matter?” He asked.

“Steve-“

God, where to begin?!!

“Becky…”

“Ohhhhh,” he suddenly let out.

She couldn’t tell him it was also her first kiss, she just couldn’t. How sad would that sound?!

“Steve, you’re Becky’s boyfriend,” she said slowly, but firmly, looking away from him. And that was hard, he was sooooo gorgeous.

“So? You think I can stand by and do nothing to you, when you’re so gorgeous?” He said.

Elisabeth could feel herself blushing. It was nice of him to say that, in fact, she felt wonderful. A guy had never been interested n her before. Having compliments like that… woah.

But this was all wrong, wrong, wrong. This hadn’t been how she wanted her first kiss to be. Steve was with Becky. Guilt suddenly seemed to sweep over her.

“Steve… you have to stay faithful to Becky…” She said.

“No way!” He cried. “Liz, you are so much better than Becky! You’re stunning! Have you got a boyfriend?”

She nearly choked back a laugh. She shook her head.

“Well, then. There’s no problem,” and he dived in again.

She stopped him before he could make contact this time.

“No problem? Yeah, there is a problem. Becky’s my best mate,” she said firmly.

How could he not care? She thought. He just made love to her last night!

“What she doesn’t know, is not gonna hurt her,” Steve said, still calmly, and this time when he tried to kiss her, his great strength overpowered Elisabeth’s feeble attempts to stop him.

He was kissing her again now, but more forcefully this time, and she couldn’t stop him. She could feel her lips moving a bit now, beginning to respond. She wanted to stop them, fight back the urge… she was betraying her best friend by kissing her boyfriend.

But she didn’t understand why her body wasn’t responding. Her head was screaming at her to stop kissing, but she was ignoring it. It must be the trance Steve has me in, she thought. I think I’m under his spell.

Or maybe this was just what it was like when you kissed someone?

How did she know. She’d never done this before in her life.

His hands moved slightly from her back to her hips, and all of a sudden she began to panic. Just a little.

I don’t know what’s going on!! She suddenly thought. I feel so out of my depth. All this was suddenly happening…

He was pushing her right back against the counter now, and his hands were moving slowly up…

“Err… ummmm,” she said, opening her eyes, but not being able to move his mouth. It was too strong.

She didn’t like where he was touching her. She really didn’t, and she wished her hands would move so she could move them off her, but they’d gone all numb.

She felt pretty hopeless.

Her only salvation came when his lips moved from her mouth… to just below her ear, and then the top of her neck. She could talk now… just.

“Steve…w-wha- what are you doing?” She mumbled, feeling herself trembling as he kissed her.

“What do you think I’m doing?” He replied, before continuing to move his mouth all down the side of her neck.

She was tensing up. Really uncomfortable. She knew Steve wouldn’t be afraid to go further, and what with his apparent lack of conscience, she knew he was probably thinking about going further as well.

And that scared the HELL out of her.

“S-Steve, Steve,” she pleaded, closing her eyes, begging this to stop. She was scared about what she was feeling. She was LIKING it. It felt so nice… no, no, NO! this was wrong!!

“Steve, stop it,” she said.

“Do you want to go upstairs?” He asked her, looking back at her face.

She was stunned. “Wh-wha-what? NO!” She cried. “No, I don’t!”

“Oh, come on Liz,” he said in a silky voice, trying to relax her, and he began stroking her skin.

Oh my God, he wants to SLEEP with me! She thought stunned, frightened and excited.

Her head was swimming with all these thoughts, feelings, emotions. Problem was, she didn’t have TIME. She didn’t have time to get her head straight, to deal with all of what she was feeling.

Steve wanted her, and he wanted her NOW.

“Steve… no!” She said pathetically, trying to be strong, but failing miserably.

“Liz… don’t make me wait,” he said, looking down at her, giving her the “puppy dog’s eyes” look.

“Ste-ve,” she stressed, and she grabbed his hands and pushed him away from her. With that, she also managed to get herself free from the counter and walked out of the hole she’d trapped herself in. “No- no- no! this is WRONG. I think you should- I think you should just go.”

Her voice was shaking.

And she couldn’t look at him. In fact, she didn’t trust herself around him, so she started hastily making her way to the stairs, so she could escape to her room again. But Steve wasn’t ready to go. “I am not going ANYWHERE!” He said adamantly, and he rushed after her, grabbed her hand, and pushed her backwards, as she cried back in protest, into the lounge.

She felt herself stumbling at the force he was pushing her, plus the fact that she couldn’t see where she was going. She finally lost her balance when she fell back onto the sofa.

He got on with her, really close. He was practically on top of her!

She felt pretty close to crying. She hated being so sneaky.

“Sttt-ee-ve,” she begged, “we caaaaaaan’t!”

But he ‘shushed’ to silence her.

“Liz babe, I promise I won’t hurt you,” he said softly. “And I know you want this as much as I do, anyway.”

She tried to protest again, but he pulled her really close and forced his mouth back onto hers again.

And she struggled so hard to get free because she felt so bad doing this. Steve was Becky’s boyfriend, and Becky was her best mate! And she was snogging him!

And it was BAD. She should fight harder.

But it was so hard to break free. He was so strong, he was so firm… but most of all, he was making her feel so God damn good, that it was temptation more than anything which was fighting her resistance.

And that was why, after a few futile attempts, her body stopped protesting, and she gave into him.
