The Mumbai Chapter of Indian Institute of Metals is among the most active chapters. The aim of the Mumbai Chapter is to bring togther members with metallurgical background and those engaged in metallurgical industries and research on a common plateform. Towards this purpose the Mumbai Chapter organizes conferences/symposiums/seminars/lectures on a regular basis.The Mumbai Chapter brings out a quarterly News Letter and from August 2002 has an electronic version of the News Letter available on the internet. Through this web site we strive to reach out to all the members of the Mumbai Chapter and involve them more actively in its activities.
