Alex is a Golden Demon finalist. We hate Alex.

7 years previous, on a small colony in the Segmentum Tempestora, Inquisitor Agmar was temporarily based on Maris II with his fellow apprentice Inquisitor Ruskof, both intent on the complete cleanse of the planet's chaos tinted civilians. Agmar and Ruskof alike both had strong, similar beliefs, allowing them to resume work with little interference of one another.

After the verdict of Exterminatus of the planet was elected, both Agmar and Ruskof departed, only to cross paths again on Decklan IV. Here a small genestealer uprising had begun to spark off small but potentially dangerous attacks on the factories and mines.

After some furious skirmishes against several the insidious Genestealers, Agmar survived and the cults backed away, subsided by the sharp assault by the Inquisitor on the planets capital and goveners palace which was now under the sway of the cult. The attack was a victory and Agmar himself managed to slay the Patriarch, although a determined rearguard prevented him from preventing the escape of the cult's Magus. However during the attack Ruskof had disappeared, and was presumed dead or consumed by the remainder of the cult.

Now, in the year 999M41, Agmar has returned to the Deklan System aboard the transport ship the Bringer of Light, to investigate the possibility of a reamergance the cult preluding the invasion of the Tyranid splinter fleet LUK17E approaching the system.

It is in his belief that his friendship with Ruskof was destroyed by the powerful mind of the genestealers, and that he is now a part of them.

Other Inquisitors, who regard the idea as a farce, seeing his intentions as pointless and prolonging, do not support this point of view. Inquisitor Agmar is a strong believer in his thoughts and opinions, and now he intends to hunt his rival enemy Ruskof to discover what exactly happened to him.
