Harr'yet is based on the Tyrus model minus the shoulder pads, belt and the stupidly small holster. A very appropriate flamer replaced the power knife and Delphan Gruss' tabard completed the model. To make the model look less like the original the pose was changed slightly, using green stuff to hide the joins.

Inquisitor Harr'yet is an agent of the Ordo Hereticus and is a firm believer in the Amalathian philosophies. Inquisitor Harr'yet was born Ainz Lee Harr'yet on the hive world of Sellandor, the son of the Lord of the ruling house. He possessed an adventurous spirit and was a natural born fighter, but his father would not allow him to travel beyond the boundaries of the spire on his own, knowing all too well the dangers that lurked beneath the wall. At the age of 18 he accompanied his father into the hive for the first and last time. During their tour of the starport, the militant branch of the starport cleaner's union decided that they had had enough of their lousy pay and working conditions. The union decided that the best way to achieve their aims was to take Lord Harr'yet and his son hostage. They set up their ambush and waited. As the noble entourage moved into shuttle dock 3, the trap was sprung. The Red Guard (Lord Harr'yet's personal bodyguards) were quickly overwhelmed by a veritable horde of cleaning staff. Father and son were quickly surrounded by the rebels, but fought off all attacks with their pistols. When their clips had run dry the cleaners wrestled the pair to the ground, but the Harr'yet's would not give up without a fight. They fought on until a group of brave civilians intervened, fending off the attackers. As the defeated cleaners skulked off, the injured nobles and their bodyguard were carried to the nearest med-centres, where they received the medical attention that they needed. Lord Harr'yet made a full recovery, suffering only cuts and grazes, whilst the young Harr'yet escaped the fight with only the slight inconvenience of losing both ears and the sight in his left eye, all of which were replaced by the best bionics available. Mitzuri, an aging Inquisitor of the Ordo Hereticus (famous for the mutie purges on Celaphon IV), was despatched to make a report on the incident and to take the correct measures to assure that it would never happen again. These so called 'protective measures' led to the deaths of 4678 cleaning staff found guilty of treason and conspiracy to commit treason. Harr'yet became very fond of the elderly Inquisitor and tried to help him in every way he could. When it was time for Mitzuri to leave, Harr'yet pleaded with his father to let him accompany the Inquisitor on his journeys. He eventually agreed as it dawned upon him that he could hold his son back no longer. But Lord Harr'yet refused to let his son leave until his artisans had created a unique suit of power armour and weapons, as a gift for his son to take on his new life of adventure. Harr'yet quickly learned the ways of the Inquisitors from his mentor but Mitzuri died from old age a few months after Harr'yet's training was complete. So began Harr'yet's career as an agent of his Emperor's Inquisition. Over the years Harr'yet has gained much respect from his contemporaries but the older inquisitors find his methods questionable asking, "What is he like?" Recently Harr'yet has been seen on the world of Creda investigating the somewhat 'iffy' goings on. Notes Rowan: The inspiration for this character came soon after I had assembled and painted the model. Comments came flying from all directions concerning the strange, black and white check power armour. Comments such as, "Hey, it's a walking magnetic chessboard" or, "why have you painted it like a chef?" Having heard these comments time after time from various people, I decided to give in to popular demand and base the Inquisitor very loosely on the TV chef Ainsley Harriot - so was born Inquisitor-Acolyte Harr'yet. |
