Ysabel Nerece was one of the many prospective Inquisitorial Enforcers taken to Talsa Prime each year to fill the ranks of the Inquisitions ground troops. Chosen from the Elite Armed Response Police unit on Gevetulashe, she had always shown an unusual ferocity and an aptitude for using flame weapons. She was accepted for further training 2456259.M40 and allocated to Inquisitor Lord Arakelen Dumont's Orido Hereticus combat/enforcement unit 2982260.M40. During her first assignment, early the next year, she suffered significant injuries to the head, necessitating the fitting of a bionic right eye and a bionic auditory system.
