Izayoi: A human princess. She is InuYasha's human blood and his 'weakness' though he has a childs love for its mother deep down beneith his layers (Think Onions, like in Shrek) She took the shunning and all of the mean things the villagers would do to her and her son to rais him well, yet she died early in his life which is when he tried to push her out of mind and memory.

Sesshoumaru: InuYasha's favorite sibling. Sesshoumaru goes for the blood of the hanyou in calm disgust of having a brother that has half human blood. He also grows rather spiteful when he finds that his fathers sword, Tetsusaiga, is passed down to his hanyou brother instead of him who is stuck with just Tenseiga that only heals and doesnt destroy.

Kagome: Kagome is the reicarnation of InuYasha's old 'girlfriend' who traveled back 500 years from her time to his through a magic well on her 15th birthday. That was the day she released him from his seal and a day before she shattered the Shikon No Tama. The first member of his little posse she slowly grows on him with her spirts of courage, and constant compassion along with a never ending supply of Ramen.

Shippou: Shippou is a little Kitsune kit that joined the group second. His parents had been killed by the Thunder Brothers, which InuYasha defeated, so he decided to tag along with Kagome and InuYasha with lack of anything else to do as well as protection. With his little toys that turn into deadly little tricks and kawaii little transformations Shippou may seem small and useless but he packs a minie punch.

Miroku: Miroku is a perverted houshi that joined the group third, putting up a bit of a chase after he tried to steal Kagome's jewel shards and run away with her bike. InuYasha tracked him down, faught, and Kagome saved his tail. After a little bit of argueing and grope dodging they decided to allow Miroku to join in on the jewel search and revenge on Naraku for the Kazaana in his right hand.

Sango And Kirara: Sango is a youkai taijiya that joined the group last. Her village had been attacked while she was away on a job where her family was mudered by Naraku. Naraku tricked her by telling her InuYasha had destroyed her village so, of course, she chased after him, they battled, and she was convinced she was deceived. After a while of a little argueing she agreed to travel with them to gather the jewel shards and get revenge on Naraku for her younger brother Kohaku who he zombified.

Naraku: Naraku is the number one enemy of InuYasha as well as most of his group in general. He caused the dispute between Kikyou and InuYasha 50 years ago which killed them both and started the whole chain of events that followed. He wants the Shikon No Tama to become a more powerful youkai, or at least that is what is being suggested. He has a few detatchments: Kanna- A Young girl with a mirror thing (more details when I get them) Kagura- A woman who can control the winds and Goshinki- The youkai who was the only one to break InuYasha's sword Tetsusaiga and the first to feel the wrath of his youkai blood.

Kikyou: Kikyou is the priestess that InuYasha had fallen in love with 50 years ago. Pitted against him by an illusion she pinns him to a tree before she dies herself. A witch took her ashes and some clay and put her body back together, taking a little bit of Kagomes soul, her being the priestess's reincarnation, and gave her somewhat life. Basically she is a walking talking clay shell with souls she steals sustaining her as well as her hate for the hanyou who 'betrayed' her. Though she seems to fall back in love with him she still shows alot of hostility toward InuYasha, Kagome as well out of jelousy or just the fact that she gets in the way when she wants to kill InuYasha.

Kohaku: Sango's youger brother who was given life again after death by a corrupted jewel shard Naraku put into his back to control him to do his dirty work. He, on many occasions, attacks and/or supervises many of Naraku's evil schemes which makes him a valueble part of Naraku's force.
