The first democratic elections of the Democratic Republic of the Black Widow are currently scheduled for March 23, 2007.

Giantmongoos is running for the office of Diplomat, and a measure is on the table to ratify a proposal that Boadicea and Sumikoska be allowed to continue in the role of co-Admin for the expressed term of office - instead of seperating into Presidential and Vice Presidential roles, because as Sumikoska says "We are essentially a conjoined two-headed seamonster." and also, "Boadicea has a real life, whereas I am a pathetic internet junkie. I've heard the presence of someone with a real life improves the chances of level-headed negotiations"

Other ballot measures are on the table, including the "What term of office shall be construed least likely to cause governing officials to go ape-****" measure.
