The Meeting of Two From Millions

    This is a story about a young mans journey crossing mountains and forests to get to his destination. The story starts when a young man named Kam(Cam) is born in the city of Saigon in Vietnam. He was the second child of the Cu-Lu and Binh On. He lived a happy life in Vietnam. He regularly attended school with his little sister where they learned Chinese, Vietnamese, and French. Only Kam and his sister attended school regularly. The other kids in the family didn’t and helped their father, Cu-Lu out at his shops. Kam stayed in Vietnam until he was about 17 years old and then set off for Taiwan to get a better education. He traveled first to China and went to Canton and stayed there for a couple months. Then he went to Shanghai where he stayed for couple of months until he left for Taiwan. He made it to Taiwan when he was about 18 years old. When he went to Taiwan he had to join the army so they would let him stay. So Kam joined the army and also went to school. Kam graduated high school when he was about 20. After high school Kam went to the elite university in Taiwan, Tai Da. Kam graduated at Tai Da with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. While attending Tai Da Kam met a young lady named Xiao-Li(Shirley). Shirley was a daughter of a colonel of the Taiwanese Army. She attended Tai Da and majored in business. Kam and Shirley went out for a couple of year until they finally got married. After getting married Kam bought a house and a car for his new wife from money he won big on the stock market. Kam worked for the Taiwanese government as an electrical engineer and Shirley worked for the government as a board member of the Taiwanese government console. Later after after a couple of years when Shirley was 31 she gave birth to a young baby girl named Yi-Len(Elaine). Then three years later she gave birth to a baby boy named Yen-Wen(Alvin). The Lo family lived happily for a couple of years and then immigrated to U.S. They first stayed in San Francisco with family but then a couple of months later bought a house in El Sobrante. Still living there the Lo family is living a very happy life.
