Bio: Michael Billings

Mr.Billings is a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Ed Parker’s American Kenpo Karate.
Mr. Billings is privileged and honored to be a student of Tommy Burks, a
longtime private student of Mr. Parker's. With over 20 years in American
and Chinese Kenpo, previously with Brian Duffy, Mr. Billings has also studied
Japanese Shotokan Karate and Korean Tae-Kwon-Do since 1971. Teaching
Kenpo since 1983, he has owned and operated a school in Lubbock, Texas, while
his Black Belt students have operated schools in Midland, Texas, New Orleans,
Louisiana, and Indonesia. Returning to Austin in 1993 he taught self-defense
classes at World Gym from 1995 - 1997. His Austin school has been open sincce
November 1997.
