You left us on that cold winter day
Our hearts shattered as you walked away
We never got to say goodbye
But we knew you loved us
By the sparkle in your eye
We were all two of a kind
In a world of our own
But God made you leave
For we to be alone
I forgive God for all he took away
But I'll never forget the place where you lay
The place where you lay
Is deep in our hearts
To be there forever
Even if were always apart
