Domestic Disturbance March 16 Glenwood Community Wellness and Rec Center,Panama City,Florida Stacy Alexis: Ladies & Gentlemen, its now time for our first match of the night........ Making her way out to the ring at this time..... Weighing in at 129lbs..... Here is Raveness. As Raveness makes her way down to the ring she slap high fives to the fans and then slides under the bottom rope and springs to her feet and climbs a turnbuckle and poses for the fans as flash bulbs explode allover the venue. Stacy Alexis: Now the opponent making his debut in SWA...... Weighing in at 225lbs from Toronto,Canada..... Here is "The Sensational One" Rey Pierce. As the venue grows silent Rey walks out into the the silence and then he stands there as the fans begin to cheer wildly for him. He runs down towards the ring sliding under the ropes and stares straight at Raveness. Larry Milligan: Well Rick this match should kick off the card pretty damn good these two seem to be mismatched weight wise but Raveness in her debut along with Rey Pierce here in SWA should be able to hold her own. Rick Malone: Well hang on Larry Raveness is starting the attack early. What a kick to the head she just hit Rey with. Larry Milligan: Sure was a nice kick but wait Rey is getting up and god damn he just blew some powder into Raveness's eyes. The Ref calls for the bell & the match starts with Rey trying to gain the advantage of power with a collar and elbow tie up then Raveness who's eyes have came clean whips Rey into a corner post and does ten rapid chops in the corner, then hangs Rey out to dry on a vertical suplex, showing how much she's trained herself. Larry Milligan: Well seems like Rey's little stunt didn't work. Raveness is now on the attack and Rey is feeling it. Rick Malone: I agree Larry, Raveness after being blinded early in this match is in control of Rey. Raveness then does a series of short running elbow drops. But then Rey blocks one and turns around Raveness and she is in the corner now as Rey begins his attack and fires an elbow and challenges Raveness to get out of the corner. Raveness answers his challenge commandingly. She then puts him on his butt with a sharp left hand which sends Rey back reeling into the corner and then assaults Rey with stiff slaps and chops. She then rams him out of the ropes with his knee and does a quick Russian legsweep. Larry Milligan: Well I can say this, Raveness can take some punishment but she can give out even more. Rick Malone: I would say so Larry, Raveness is on the edge off kicking Rey's butt. Then Raveness picks him and puts him in the abdominal stretch. This then leads into Rey hip tossing Raveness out of the ring with his weight advantage & to the floor. Rey follows Raveness outside and begins applying a rear chinlock, which Raveness turns out of and strikes Rey to his head with stiff kicks and begins working the neck area. As they are still out of the ring, The Ref has got up to a count of 8 when Raveness slides back into the ring and Rey follows her & then Raveness strikes him with a hard kick to the knee, which might've gotten a bigger pop then it did. Rick Malone: Well Raveness is showing that she can hit hard. Did you hear the pop sound when she kicked his knee? Larry Milligan: Yeah Rick, She's got some hard hit's in her and to tell you this Rick I am picking Raveness to take out Rey Pierce. Raveness then continues to attack, As Rey lays on the mat with a Boston crab. After some struggling, Rey hits Raveness with an elbow to break the hold. Then the striking war continues between Rey and Raveness. Rick Malone: Well toe-to-toe they go. Larry Milligan: Nice rhyming Rick, But lookout Rey is fishing into his trunks again. Rey then takes out a clear plastic bag with something inside it. Rey then downs Raveness and uses an STF. Rey then breaks the seal on the bag and rubs it onto his hands. Larry Milligan: Nooooooo Rey's cheating, Ref god damn he's cheating. Rick Malone: Yeppers he is but hey all fair in love & war. But what is he going to do. Rey then rakes the eye's off Raveness causing her more momentary blindness and kicks her in the knee and continues exploiting Raveness's knees. Rey begins to land a series of chops and high kicks. Raveness falls down onto the mat and Rey goes for a Ankle Lock! The fans get excited, all the pressure on Raveness's knee and ankle. Larry Milligan: Now Rey is starting to use his 100 or so pound advantage and this hold is one that can make use of it all. Rick Malone: Larry, Rey is starting to show some smarts. The powder on his hands has turned the match for him now. Then Raveness inches and inches, and finally gets to the bottom rope. Rey then breaks the hold and Raveness struggles as Rey hit's her with The Piercer (Springboard Phoenix Splash), until Raveness finally shows her strength in regaining her smarts again, giving him a vertical suplex out of it, without hooking the arm. With Rey down, she bags Rey & is heard saying 'Your Crap'. Larry Milligan: Now Raveness is getting personal with it. She just called him crap. Rick Malone: Well Larry, Rey is not using his smarts though as he should've worn her down instead of letting Raveness get back into the match. Then Raveness lands some big elbows to Rey's head. Elbow suicida! Rey then gets in the ropes. Causing the Ref to call for a break and as Raveness steps back Rey runs at her anddips her to the side of the head with his knee & picks her up & goes for his finisher "Drawn into the Light". Rick Malone: Well that's it Rey has the match in the bag. Larry Milligan: That is the truth no way can Raveness even move. Rick Malone: What the......... Raveness has just reversed the pin. The REF begins the count 1............2............ Larry Milligan: Somehow he escaped that. Rey gives Raveness a quick closeline but she is quickly back up to encounter a scoop slam that keeps her down. Larry Milligan: Raveness in a bad way here. Raveness stands up and Rey flies off despite the new situation and lands a crossbody block on her for the three. Stacy Alexis: Your Winner....... Rey Pierce! Larry Milligan: Rey got a big win. Rick Malone: Well it was only a matter of time. "Outshined" by Soundgarden hits, he walks to the ring with the dim arena lights. He climbs up on one of the turnbuckle and throws arm up showing off his newly won championship, then jumps down and gets a mic. Rick Malone: Respect the champion. Larry Milligan: Champion of what? His so-called victory was pretty hollow. Rick Malone: And why do you say that friend? Larry Milligan: Eris and Geno did most of the work, he took advantage of a poor defenseless Toker, and he didn't even beat Geno. Larry Milligan: Well its Geno's fault he was disqualified and Tokers for sucking. Chris Chaos: First it was the DWF Hardcore Championship, then it was the DWF World Championship.... Larry Milligan: On Execution, I might add. And what members of the world did you beat? Rick Malone: What do you have against the champ? Larry Milligan: He isn't one. Chris Chaos: And it has all manifested with the SWA Regional Championship. This championship is just a small stepping stone to the SWA Championship. Ya know... "Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes begins to blast over the pa as lights begin to flash wildly around the arena. Geno then comes out to the top of the ramp. He then goes to the left side and raises his right hand with his pointer finger up. He then goes to the right side and does the same thing. He climbs up the steel steps and onto the apron. he then pulls himself over the top rope and into the ring. Larry Milligan: We might see some action here Geno: I've come for what’s mine. Chris Chaos: And what’s that I may ask? Geno: That belt you falsely own. Chaos chuckles and then pats Geno on the shoulder; Geno merely looks over and pushes his hand away. Chris Chaos: Maybe you've taken one to many shots to the head but this title, it belongs to me and no one will take it from me. Rick Malone: Thats right. Geno: Very well then, next week at Prelusion I will pry it from your lifeless fingers after you've gone through The Paradox. Chris Chaos: You’re a funny guy you know that? You see...I've already beaten you so there's no point in proving myself against you again. Larry Milligan: He must be terrified of Geno. Rick Malone: He's not terrified, just picking his opponents wisely. Chris Chaos: Maybe I'll give my first title defense to Rey Pierce. Geno glares at Chaos and inches his way toward him and Chaos inches back accordingly. FEAR OF THE DARK!!!! Larry Milligan: This doesn't concern you. Mike rides to the ring on his ovation of boos He steps in the ring and and Chaos quickly hands Mike a mic, he nods in appreciation. WM: You'll get your chance Geno... Larry Milligan: Mikes in a pleasant mood today. WM: Just not at Prelusion. Rick Malone: HAHA!!! Mike got up Geno's hopes and then squashed them. WM: I'm sure that your new found friend Enforcer will need all the help he can get against The Death Angels. Larry Milligan: Woah!! That’s going to be big. WM: Now if you would so kindly as remove yourself from my presence. Geno takes a deep breath, tosses the mic to Chaos and hightails it from the ring. Mike himself starts to leave.... Chris Chaos: So about Prelusion, do I have a match? Do I? Do I? Huh? Huh? Mike smiles and crawls back into the ring. WM: As a matter of fact, yes you do. You will go toe to toe with Minos Chris Chaos: Who the hell is that?. WM:A new guy, it shouldn't be to hard eh champ? Larry Milligan: More like chump. Chris Chaos: It won't be for the title will it? Because I just had a brutal match two weeks ago, ya know? WM: Don't worry about that, it will be non-title. We'll save that title defense for someone more, qualified per say. Now let me discuss Prelusion with you all. Prelusion will be a night like none other. Enforcer will finally loose his tag title since Shadow screwed that match up, but I'll get to her later. Then, I, White Mike will single handedly end the SWA career of one Damien Cruz. And then perhaps the most important event of the night, hell, in all of wrestling history. Ice will destroy Shadows measly little title run and prove to her that she is nothing compared to him, assuming that she defeats Watters tonight. Even if Watters wins than Ice will still win. "Enter Sandman" by Metalica hits as Damien Cruz starts to walk out. WM: How nice of you to join us. Out here to wuss out of my challenge? Cruz: No, I'm here to accept it, more or less. See Mike, I want to save you the humiliation of getting pinned and I really don't want you to go out this way, you've had a fairly good career, I don't think you want it tarnished over a mistake that you made, so, I have a proposition for you. Since you are so confident that Ice will defeat Shadow how about if Shadow defeats Ice then you are gone... WM: And WHEN Ice defeats Shadow, you my friend are never to return. Cruz: Exactly, I see your brain still functions. Chris Chaos: Your going to take that? WM: Your still here? Mike turns away from Chaos and tilts his head in inquiry. WM: It’s your skin, just reminding you, but I do accept your childish proposition. "Fear of the Dark" hits and Mike and Chaos walk to the back. Larry Milligan: So if Ice wins Cruz is out and if Shadow wins... Rick Malone: Which she won't. Larry Milligan: Then White Mike is out. What a title match this will be. Stacy Alexis: Time for our next match, Making his way towards the ring....... "Corporate Player" David Scoles. He walks out wearing a SWA t-shirt with Corporate Player emblazoned across it. He then walks down to the ring taunting the fans. Stacy Alexis: Now his opponent, "Realitiys fist" Brian Silege. Silege walks out & then pauses doing a few taunts to the fans & then runs to the ring & slides in under the ropes & begins to taunt Scoles. Larry Milligan: Well what an interesting start Silege is talking trash. Rick Malone: Well let's see if he can walk the walk as he is trying to talk the talk. Larry Milligan: Your on fire tonight with the rhyming Rick. Whoaaaa! What a back drop, That's gotta hurt. The Ref calls for the bell, Scoles runs at Silege who back drops him over the top rope & to the outside. Silege then follows him out & they begin to brawl as the ref begins a ten count. 1..... 2..... 3..... 4..... 5..... 6..... 7..... Silege tries to slide back into the ring but Scoles grabs his ankles & keeps him outside as the ref continues to count. 8..... 9..... 10.... Stacy Alexis: Here is the Referee's decision & this match is a double countout. Larry Milligan: What the........ A double countout???? Damn it ref!!! Rick Malone: Now Larry don't loose your cool, Or you'll make yourself look like a fool. Larry Milligan: That's not even funny Rick. Arena lights remain on. Over the house speakers "Emotion is Dead: Part One" by The Juliana Theory plays, almost drowned out by the hum of the crowd. From the entrance way Joey Armstrong makes his appearance. Armstrong walks down to the ring with a piece of paper in his hand and a smirk on his face. The crowd responds with a mixture of jeers and slight cheers. Throughout the arena the audience stand to their feet, some holding makeshift signs supporting or disrespecting Armstrong. Joey stands before the entrance, with arms raised in the air, basking in the attention. He then journeys towards the ring, either arguing with the on lookers or self proclaiming his "greatness." Within seconds Apoc finds himself at ringside. He hopes on the apron, landing a knee on the canvas, then pulling himself up on the outside by the ropes. He stands to enter the ring between the top and middle rope. Once in the ring he makes his way towards the far left turnbuckle, raising his arms in pre victory towards the admiring crowd, then proceeds to the opposite right turnbuckle, continuing in the same fashion, until all corners are covered, proclaiming [again] his supposed "greatness." As he approaches the middle of the ring, his entrance music begins to fade. Armstrong: What I have here is a sheet of paper that we call a contract. This particular one is one for a match and I think one needs to happen. Now, this won't be a title match, unfortunately, but I get to mount a certain amount of revenge and thats worth a title and more. Larry Milligan: Who could it be? Rick doesn't even respond but merely slaps his forehead. Armstrong: With White Mike's divine blessing I wish to battle this man that hides behind his mask. But you see, I need this "masked man" to come and sign his little name on this contract. Armstrong waits a minute for the masked man to appear, when he doesn't Armstrong raises his mic back to his lips. Armstrong: It is my only hope that he can put away his jealousy and immaturity for long enough to sign this contract, I broke no aggression. "If I Die Tomorrow" by Motley Crue and he enters to the arena. He pauses at the entrance way, shouting insults at the fans and raises his arms in the air.He has a swaggering walk to the ring and slides under the bottom rope, to enter the ring. Armstrong: Still hiding behind that mask I see. His eyes narrow at the statement from Armstrong, The Masked Man grabs the piece of paper and signs it without looking down and then tosses it back at Armstrong which falls to his feet, Armstrong smirks and then lowers down to pick up the contract without lowering his eyes. Armstrong: A.W. eh? Well "AW" maybe you should start reading things before you sign them, you just signed a no holds barred contract. No holds barred, that means I can do anything. Rick Malone: And we all know how Armstrong gets in a no holds barred match. TMM: You think you have it all figured out don't you? The Masked Man begins to take off the mask to reveal himself as none other than....Adam White...Armstrong's eyes open wide but not in fear, in surprise to the new developments in this situation. He backs away a few steps and then, without deliberation runs out of the ring, Adam in turn fallows him. Larry Milligan: I don't know what to say...this is a match made in heaven. Rick Malone:(cracks knuckles) So it was Adam White that was bothering Mr. Armstrong. Larry Milligan: Calm down Rick Stacey Alexis: Introducing first, consisting of the talents of Eris Fury and Black Rose, The Death Angels!! The lights go down, Eris rides through the curtain on her black Harley Davidson bike, fallowed by an attentive Black Rose.Eris rides down the ramp to the ring and dismounts the bike. She and Rose to the ring and awaits her opponent Larry Milligan: Looks like we are about to get a little tag action. Rick Malone: About time we had some sort of action. Stacey Alexis: And their first opponent, from Melbourne, Australia, standing at six feet and 3 inches, Tytus Arnol!! The arena goes black, and "Freak on a Leash" by Korn begins to play, and Tytus's video appears on the screen. Then, many pyros go off, and out comes Tytus. He walks down to the ring, and does a taunt on two turnbuckles, Larry Milligan: This match is rather interesting, as we know, just last week Fire defeated Tytus, can these two really coexist? Rick Malone: I know Fire will since he's all mature but he needs to watch Tytus, it sort of like us, I don't like you but I'm still mature enough to put up with you. Larry Milligan: I never realized you were so compassionate. Then stands in the middle of the ring with a bright red spotlight shinning down upon him Stacey Alexis: And his tag team partner, from Beloit,Wisconsin, Fire!!! "Out of my way" By Seether blasts through the arena, he energetically goes down to the ring, celebrating with the fans, goes into the ring, gets on the turnbuckle and forms an X with his hands. Rose volunteers to go first in the match, referee Jason Morris forces Tytus to the apron as Fire is already in the ring. Rose plants a double axe handle into the back of Fire that forces him to retreat from the turnbuckle, Rose hits him with a knife edge chop and then a big right to his jaw, she whips him from one turnbuckle to the opposite. Rose runs after him and gets a boot to the face, instead of knocking her down with a closeline he does a standing drop kick and then an elbow drop to her throat. Larry Milligan: Rose quickly back up. She rifles a kick at Fire whom catches it and then turns giving her a dragon screw fallowed by a leg drop and a pin but only for a one count as she easily wedges out. Larry Milligan: Fire starting off quickly Rick Malone: Like there was ever any question. Fire quickly gives her a snap suplex but it fails to keep her down as Rose gives him a snapmare and then starts to pull on his hair. Larry Milligan: Is that some new kind of submission? Fire gets lose and runs into an arm drag from Rose. Rose gives him a hard slap on his chest and whips him off the ropes, he comes back to receive a powerslam and a two count. Larry Milligan: First nearfall of this match. Fire stumbles back up and is thrown via hurricanranna. Rose picks up Fire and whips him into the corner, emotions explode and in run Tytus and Eris, a fist fight beings. Rose turns Fire around in the corner and starts with a series of right hands while Eris whips Tytus to the other corner. Eris then follows up with a clothesline. While Rose gives Fire a series of chops, Tytus comes up behind him and elbows him in the back. Rose falls to the ground and Tytus lifts her up by her hair. Fire lifts himself up on top of the turnbuckle and then grabs Rose's head and does a tornado DDT. Larry Milligan: The Death Angels are sure taking it to Fire and Tytus. After the tornado DDT, Fire and Tytus walk over to a dazed Fury and whips her into the ropes. As she comes back they give her a double shoulder block and Fire goes for the pin. 1... 2... Rose races over and kicks Fire in the head breaking up the count. Referee Jason Morris forces Fire to the apron. Fury and Rose pick up Tytus and whip him to the opposite side of the ropes. Tytus comes back, off of the ropes, with a double clothesline as the crowd cheers. Larry Milligan: Tonight's main event is coming up next. It should be a good one to, Ice thinks he's better than both Watters and Shadow. Rick Malone: He is!!! Larry Milligan: Ice has a title shot at the Prelusion, if Watters wins tonight will it frustrate Ice? Rick Malone: Of course not, it doesn't matter who he faces, the outcome will always be the same. Back in the ring, a dazed Fury hobbles to the apron as Rose runs at Tytus, but only to receive a scoop slam. Rose rolls back up and run at Tytus again. This time Tytus gives him a hip toss. A frustrated Rose runs for a third time at Tytus, slides under his legs and delivers a neckbreaker to Tytus. Rick Malone: Third time really is a charm! Larry Milligan: The Death Angels are really on Fire tonight. Rose makes a quick tag to Eris, who runs off the ropes and delivers a dropkick to the neck of Tytus. He picks up Tytus, gives him a snap supplex and quickly applies a twisting sleeper hold. Larry Milligan: The experience of Eris and Rose is showing here. They're focusing on that neck of Tytus. Rick Malone: For now, Fire will bring his team back. Referee Jason Morris raises Tytus's arm and it falls. One!... He raises Tytus's arm again, and it falls. Two!... The ref raises his arm a third time. It starts to fall but at the very last moment he raises it up. Tytus elbows Eris and starts to rise. He elbows her again and reaches to his feet. He elbows Eris a third time and she stumbles backwards. Tytus runs to the ropes and comes back only to get a drop toe hold from Eris, who then lands on the back of Tytus's neck. Tytus instantly grabs the back of his neck and squirms around on the mat. Larry Milligan: He's really down under now. Rick Malone: His eyes narrow and he shakes his head at Larry. Never try comedy. Eris drags Tytus to his corner and tags in Rose. Rose immediately starts hammering away on Tytus's neck. Larry Milligan: Tytus needs a tag here. Rose whips Tytus in the corner and runs into him with a clothesline. Tytus falls down and Rose presses her foot against Tytus's neck. Rose picks up Tytus and he falls again. Rose carries Tytus's, half limp, body to the center of the ring. Tytus musters the strength to kick Rose but she catches it leaving Tytus hoping up and down on one leg. He jumps up and kick Rose in the back of the head, and both fall to the ground. Larry Milligan: What an enzuguri by Tytus. Rick Malone: Hurry up! Go tag in Fire! Both competitors inch towards their corners. Rose tags in Eris and Tytus tags in Fire. Eris runs at Fire who gives her a back body drop. Tytus rolls out of the ring and lies on the outside. Fire picks up Eris and whips her into the ropes and gives her a tilt-a-whirl slam. He picks her up again and fires a right. Eris blocks it and gives him a right of her own. Then a left and whips him off of the ropes. When Fire comes back, he kicks Eris in the stomach and lifts her up for a supplex. In the air, Eris gets the momentum and forces Fire down in a DDT. Larry Milligan: Whoa! This one's not over yet folks! Eris goes for a cover, but Fire puts his foot on the ropes. Eris lifts Fire up and starts to hammer away on him. Fire falls to one knee and Eris runs off the ropes and Fire finds it in him to give Eris a spinebuster. He then covers her. Larry Milligan: This could be it! Rick Malone: Yes! One!... Two!... Rose flies from the apron and disrupts the count. Morris forces her back to the apron. Fire gets up and goes over to tag Tytus but he isn't there. Eris sneaks up behind Fire and gives him a school boy. One!... Two!... Two and a half!... Fire barely kicks out as Eris whips him over to their corner and Tytus finally starts to crawl back up on the apron. Eris starts banging punches in the stomach of Fire. She goes for a right hook but Fire ducks and Eris nails Rose, knocking her off the apron. Fire runs back over to his corner, but Eris runs after him. He turns around ring in time to catch the approaching Eris in a flap jack. Fire quickly tags in Tytus, who races to the top of the turnbuckle, turns around and delivers a moonsault but misses. Eris inches over to make the pin. One!... Two!... Tytus barely kicks out and he throws a right at Eris who blocks it and gives him a left. Tytus tries again but is again bocked. Tytus throws a left but is blocked and given a hard right which knocks him back, he spins around and gets a kick in the stomach and then the Golden Apple of Discord. 1... Rick Malone: See, I told you Tytus was going to loose this one for them. 2... Fire starts to get in but is held back, he looks down to see a Beaten BlackRose who was previously knocked off the apron. She pulls him down causing him ti hit his chin on the apron. 3! Megan Lewis: Here are your winners, The Death Angels! Larry Milligan: What a match and what a win for the Death Angels. They'll have some momentum going into Prelusion. But folks before we get to the main event we have some footage from earlier today. A man walks out and places a VCR tape in the 64' inch T.V that is used as a titantron. Footage The scene comes up on Shadow, getting out of her black 1998 Mustang as she pulls in to the parking lot of the rec center. From the passenger side, Dante steps out as well, taking a moment to stretch his long legs from the cramped compartment of the car. Shadow opens the trunk, and reappears a few moments later with a bag over her shoulder, and sunglasses shielding her eyes from the bright Florida sunlight. She and Dante start walking across the grassy lawn that approaches the back entrance of the rec center. As she steps up to the employee entrance set up by a makeshift blockade of tables, Julie Medina picks her way through the early crowd and finds her way up to Shadow. Julie Medina: Shadow! You're here early today, one of the first to come in. I think you might have even beaten White Mike. Any reason for the early arrival? She takes off her sunglasses to look down a few inches, sizing Julie up. She squints slightly. Shadow: No real reason, other than you know... I'm the champ. I shouldn't get special treatment, I should be working harder than everyone else to represent the company. So here I am. Julie nods. Julie Medina: So are you ready for your match tonight against Ben Watters? It's your first big title defense, as we all know. Shadow smiles. Shadow: Julie... you have to be kidding me. Of course I'm ready! I mean, I've been spending the entire week getting ready. I think I trained even harder than I did my first week here, and that week I pretty much knew that I was going to be getting two matches in one night. Julie Medina: Are you really that worried about Ben Watters? A lot of people, I mean, especially your supposed opponent for the supercard, Ice, have said that he's nothing. Shadow pauses for a moment to consider this. Shadow: I guess I can see why Ice would say that. Julie Medina: What do you mean? She holds up a hand. Shadow: Chill out, Julie, I was just getting to that. What I mean is that Ice would take any opportunity he could to make me look bad. First, I didn't pin HIM to win the title, so therefore, I didn't really deserve it. Then, I supposedly gave Heart a fast count to get the win over him, when anyone who watches that match can see that it's obviously not true. Then, last week, I supposedly believed he cared about the match, when all I did was step in with some professionalism to take care of my job, and he's the one who had to be immature about it. This week, my title defense against Ben Watters means nothing. You see a pattern here yet? It doesn't matter what Ice says, so long as he makes me look bad. That's what he lives for, because it just eats him alive that he can't always get the last word against me. Julie nods. Julie Medina: So you ARE focused on Ben? Ben seems to think you're focused on Ice. Shadow smirks slightly. Shadow: That, apparently, is because Ben can't track when I'm talking. First of all, Ice is a reality in my world, thus I deal with him as I see fit, when I need to. He wants to make a big deal about me not talking about him when... well... why would I waste my time? He didn't show his face around here until yesterday, so I saw no need to worry about it- I reviewed his tapes, trained, and concentrated on making sure my head was in the right place to win this match. He decided yesterday to rattle off everything that was in his pea-sized head- or at least I assume it's pea-sized, considering how often he repeated himself. But... I'm focused on exactly what I need to be focused on, and just because I don't spend all my time rattling off about Ben Watters doesn't mean that I'm not thinking about our match. I mean, I saw what happened when Jayley Havok tried to get into a battle of words with him last week, so I decided to take a different tactic. Of course, you know, Ben can sit around and say that he's said nothing about our match all week because he doesn't have to talk about it, but when I do the same, I'm not focused. No one ever said that hypocrisy wasn't rampant around here, I guess. Julie takes that in for a moment, before plunging in with her next question. Julie Medina: Ben also seems to think that the women around here are lower-class superstars than he is... and he also says that you only have a modicum of talent, and managed to hang on to the title because of luck. Your thoughts? For a moment, Shadow is silent, then a smile crosses her face, and she shakes her head. Shadow: That's a lot to bite off all at once, so I'll take my time. The reason that Ben Watters finds constant occasion to just refer to the women around here as "bitches" is that he's just like just about every other guy here. Yeah, whether Ice denies it or not, the reason that they have to resort to gender-based insults is because it threatens them to have women in such a prominent role. I'm sorry that it hurts their little feelings, but people like me, Jayley Havok, Black Rose, Eris Fury... the women around here who have proved that they CAN hang with the men, without a shadow of a doubt? We're not going anywhere. As for me hanging on to the title because of luck? Well... it wasn't luck that got me into the title match that first week of SWA's operation. It was talent. White Mike sat there in the back watching who put the most effort into their work- he watched to see who was READY for the title shot, and he picked me as one of the four. Considering that was supposed to be the four most impressive workers SWA had to offer, I don't think it was luck that won me the title either. Whether Watters likes it or not... it was skill. Julie Medina: Speaking of White Mike, he seems awfully impatient to give Ice a title shot against you. Why do you think that he caters to Ice's wants? Shadow rolls her eyes. Shadow: Because Ice inserts himself up White Mike's ass? That's the only way for someone so mediocre to get so much attention. Julie Medina: So if White Mike is so close to Ice, then why do you think he hasn't done something shady to make sure you lose the title? Shadow smirks slightly. Shadow: Well, that just serves to prove my point. Mike knows exactly who his strongest workers are, and he also knows that I've built up somewhat of a following since SWA started. My name is circulating among the indy wrestling ranks as one of the women to watch. People know who I am. And Mike knows that if he pulls anything funny, his promotion could very well come down on his head. It's kind of funny, really... he wants his little pet Ice to have the title, but he knows that, at the same time, if he just shadily gives it to him... SWA will go down the drain, because people have watched me work my ass off to attain and keep my status in this company. Julie nods, seemingly agreeing with Shadow's logic. Julie Medina: Just a couple of last things... Obviously, you're starting to be talked about on the scene, and people are starting to look at you as a rising icon of the "new" women's wrestling. That being said... what do you think of Ben Watters' assertion that you're not ready for the big time? Shadow pauses, smirking as she considers that. Shadow: Julie... whether he likes it or not... I AM the big-time in SWA. I don't have to prove ANYTHING, and this match is not about me proving my skills. People already know I have them. This match is about me shutting up all the doubters WITHIN SWA. It's about me showing everyone in the back who thinks I'm nothing that I have this title for a reason, and that reason is not just to keep it shined up and pretty until they get ready for their shot. I'm the watermark in SWA. If you want to measure up to something, you put on a good match against me. You prove yourself against me. It's like that anywhere you go, and that's what pisses me off- these half-wits actually don't realize that it's not about the champion proving herself, it's about you proving yourself to the champion. And it's like that in any promotion. You walk into the door, you check out their champion, you give him or her the props they deserve, and if you want to prove that you deserve ANYTHING, you prepare to face them in a one-on-one match. The egos around here seem to get that confused. Julie Medina: So what do you plan to do to correct that? Shadow's smirk widens. Shadow: Do what I do best. Get into the ring, take on all takers, and make them realize why I'm on top around SWA. I'm taking numbers- anybody who wants to find out why the champ is the champ is more than welcome to, and anybody who's an unbeliever will soon change their mind when they step into that ring and face me one-on-one. Look... Julie, I think I've run my yap long enough. I'd rather not turn into Watters. With that, Shadow readjusts her bag on her shoulder, and then proceeds into the complex with Dante at her side, who has been silent this whole time. Julie watches them walk into the complex, and then goes back to her seat, waiting for some more people to filter in that she can do interviews with. The scene fades. End Footage Stacey Alexis: Introducing first, the challenger from Las Vegas Nevada wigging in at tw0-hundred forty five pounds, Ben Watters. "Welcome to the Jungle" music plays walks out cocky spitting water. The fans yawn at the bland entrance. Larry Milligan: Its main event time. Rick Malone: I wondered how you figured that one out. Stacy Alexis: And introducing, your SWA Champion, hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and accompanied to the ring by Dante... SHADOW! "Ware Her Venom" by Einherjer plays, and the champion appears at the doorway of the gym, Dante at her side. She steps through the door, holding up the title to a crowd who is pretty intent on cheering for her, and walks down the aisle towards the ring, giving a few nods to people who are especially vehement about cheering her on. Dante circles to her corner at ringside, and Shadow climbs up the ring-steps, hands off her title to referee Jim Avant, and mounts the turnbuckle. For a few moments, she looks out at the crowd, and then, from the top rope, she performs a flawless backflip, landing on her feet in the ring, to the cheers of the people who have come out expecting to see a good showing from her. After playing to the crowd for a moment longer, she spins around, her eyes focused hard on Watters .Larry Milligan: This woman means business this week. Rick Malone: She better! She has to keep her title so Ice can beat her next week! Larry Milligan: One week at a time, how about that? What makes you so sure Ice could beat her anyway? He hasn't managed to do it yet. Rick Malone: Are you kidding me? That should be an obvious answer. Watters and Shadow lock up, pushing back and forth, neither getting a clear advantage. Avant goes to break it up but Watters gets in a hard right and then tackles Shadow into the corner, throwing a tornado of punches.Watters backs away from her and then clotheslines her as she comes out of the corner in a hurry. Larry Milligan: Watters is really focused tonight, looks like he wants that title. Rick Malone: Him and every other person on this roster. Shadow gets up quickly and chop blocks the knees of Watters , knocking him down. Quickly rushing to the ropes, Shadow bounces off them and comes back drop kicking Watters as he gets to a knee, planting his feet right in his jaw! Rick Malone: He’ll be icing that baby later… Watters begins to hold his jaw as he thrives in pain on the matt. Shadow grabs Watters by his hair and forces him to his feet. Shadow Irish Whips Watters to the ropes and leans down for a back body drop. Watters grabs onto the ropes to slow himself and manages to stop right before he reaches Shadow. Watters drives a stiff knee into the chest of Shadow as he miscalculates. Watters immediately follows with three rights to the face and an Irish whip of his own. Shadow bounces off the ropes and is met by Shoulder Block. Watters runs to the ropes to gain impact for another move but Shadow dives across the ring to trip Watters as he comes from the ropes. Watters sees Shadow and adjusts himself by jumping over Shadow’s body. Watters runs to the other side of the ring while Shadow jumps to her feet. Watters bounces off the ropes and runs towards Shadow. She tries to dodge Watters by jumping over him but Watters counters her back pushing her legs, creating a high back body drop. Larry Milligan: Nice elevation. Rick Malone: She's trying to earn her pilot wings. Watters grabs Shadow by her long brown hair and jerks her to her feet. Watters instantly hooks Shadow and delivers a belly to belly suplex. Watters walks over to the downed Shadow and scraps his foot across her face. The crowd starts yelling and booing at Watters for his underhanded tactics. Rick Malone: Hey, they work. Larry Milligan: And nothing seems to be working for Shadow. Rick Malone: Maybe she finally meet her match. Tony walks over to the ropes and yells at the front row fans to shut up but this just makes the fans boo more. Watters shrugs it off and turns around to continue the match but once he turns around he is met by a picture perfect dropkick from Shadow which sends him out of the ring and to the floor. The crowd starts cheering as Shadow waits for Watters to get to his feet. As she sees Watters start to stand he runs and bounces off the adjacent set of ropes. Shadow comes running across the ring and leaps through the ropes to the floor connecting with a Suicide Dive. Rick Malone: Look she’s cheating; you can only hit people in the ring. Larry Milligan: I'm pretty sure its legal. Rick Malone: Who asked you anyways. Shadow and Watters are both down as Shadow takes a unlucky bump on the rail by hitting her shoulder as she drives Watters’s back into the rail with the Suicide Dive. Although she weakened herself, she is the first to get to her feet and begins to stomping on Watters. Watters starts begging for it to stop as Shadow kicks him in the head once more. Larry Milligan: Looks like Shadow is regaining momentum. Rick Malone: Beginners luck? Jim starts a ten count. 1... Shadow walks away from him and she and Dante discuss strategy but gives Watters enough time to recompose and he slams her with a kidney punch, she falls like a wilted flower and Watters then runs over Dante with a closeline. 2... Watters decides to up the anti and walks over to the announcers table. He grabs a chair from the table and folds it up for use. He walks back to Shadow and as he goes to swing the referee grabs the chair to stop the attack. He turns around to yell at the referee and as he does Shadow gets to her feet. While Watters yells at the referee Shadow grabs him from behind by his neck and his left arm. Shadow then viciously Irish Whips him into the steel steps. Watters drills the steps and is now laying on the floor. 3.... Shadow decides that’s enough for now and rolls into the ring to get a breather and stop the count. She lays in the ring catching her breath as Watters lays on the floor from the pain of drilling the steel steps. Larry Milligan: Neither seems to have a clear cut advantage in this match. Rick Malone: Soon enough Watters will be walking out of here, title in hand. Shadow decides she has had enough time and rolls back out to the outside. Shadow walks over and grabs Watters by his curly blond hair. Rick Malone: NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! She can't o that to his hair, thats sac-religious. Larry Milligan: A follower of Watterisim? Watters elbows Shadow twice, grabs her head and slams it on the top of the steel steps twice and then sends her back into the ring. Watters rolls in after him and continues the onslaught. Watters kicks Shadow three times while she lays on the mat. Watters grabs Shadow by her arm and head to pull her to her feet but stops while he has her on his knees. Watters sets Shadow up draped across the middle rope and then reaches over the top rope and grabs the rope Shadow is on. Watters drives a knee into the back of Shadow as he pulls up the rope to do a sort of choke. The Avant tells Watters to break the choke but Watters ignores him so Avant begins the five count to disqualify him. Avant counts to three and Watters lets go of the choke. Watters makes sure that Shadow is still draped across the ropes and then runs across the ring to the other ropes and bounces off them to add momentum. Watters then leaps at Shadow and lands on top of her back in a seated position to drive her throat into the ropes. Avant tells Watters to watch the throat as he starts gloating of how he is beating Shadow. Rick Malone: See, I told you, it was only a matter of time before Watters got the advantage. Larry Milligan: I suppose you are right. Shadow stumbles up dazed and Watters knocks her back down with a monstrous closeline. Rick Malone: Oh man, did you see that? She didn't even know what was coming! Larry Milligan: It was cheap, that's what it was. Watters, smirking and obviously feeling like he's got things sewed up, takes his sweet time getting to the cover. He hooks the leg, and Jim Avant begins the count. Jim Avant: 1... 2... Just as he's about to bring his hand down again, Shadow suddenly rolls! Larry Milligan: Reversal! She's got him in a majistral cradle! Jim Avant: 1... 2... Rick Malone: YES! Watters kicks out! The two competitors disentangle themselves, and Shadow paces around Watters, stalking the ring with a look on her face that says she just proved she means business about this match. Larry Milligan: I think Watters may have bitten off more than he can chew here, he looks pretty surprised that she managed that. Watter stomps his feet in frustration of Shadows resistance, Shadow cracks a half smile, Watters runs at Shadow to get a arm drag with a arm bar to finish it off, Watters quickly scoots to the ropes and Avant breaks the hold. Watters manages a kick to the knee of Shadow but she fires back with a dropkick to the knee. Watters gets to all fours at which point Shadow runs off the ropes and gives a dropkick to his head. Shadow flips him over and head to the turnbuckle, she flies off with a shooting star press but Watters moves out of the way allowing Shadow to crash into the mat. Larry Milligan: Damn him, he was playing possum all the tme. Rick Malone: And he wouldn't have done the same thing? People will do ANYTHING to get that title. Waters walks over to the nearest turnbuckle and starts to remove the top pad of the turnbuckle. Avant starts removing his hands from the pad to stop him but he just pushes him out of the way. Avant gets back in the way and shoves Watters away from the turnbuckle and the crowd begins cheering for the referee. Watters smiles in a devious way as he runs and kicks Shadow in the mid section as she is getting up. Shadow grabs her mid section in pain as she rolls over onto her back. Watters goes back to the turnbuckle pad and this time manages to get the pad off before Avant could do anything. Watters throws the pad up the entrance ramp so even if Avant went to get it he would still have time to use the exposed turnbuckle. Avant decides to let it go and Watters pulls Shadow to her feet. Watters walks Shadow over to the opposite turnbuckle and then viciously Irish whips her into the exposed turnbuckle. Larry Milligan: Damn him, damn him and all his underhanded tactics. Watters starts smiling and taunting the crowd as Shadow lays on the mat holding her back for the pain from the exposed turnbuckle. Watters continues taunting the crowd as Shadow struggles to get to her feet. Watters walks over to Shadow and goes to grab her but she counters by a punch to the mid section. Watters attempts to grab her again but again she counters with a punch. Shadow continues the punches this time and makes it to her feet. She attempts another punch but Watters dodges it and nails Shadow with a stiff high knee lift. Watters grabs Shadow by the back of the head as she is bent over from the knee to the chest and he throws her head first into the exposed turnbuckle which causes Shadow to immediately fall to the ground holding her head. Watters pulls Shadow back to her feet and slams her head once more into the turnbuckle. Watters now feels like he has this match won and begins taunting the crowd telling them that this was too easy and that he has it all wrapped up just needs to put the nail in the coffin. Rick Malone: Its true Larry. No point in continuing this. Larry Milligan: Not so fast, he has to pin her first. Watters spends a few more seconds taunting the crowd until he then decides to go back to Shadow and finish the job. Watters pulls Shadow to her feet and sends her with an Irish whip to the opposite turnbuckle from the exposed turnbuckle. Watters walks over to Shadow and pulls her from his prone position at the turnbuckle. Watters kicks her in the mid section and sets her head between his legs. Watters lifts Shadow up in a power-bomb like position and then turns to aim at the exposed turnbuckle. Watters begins to run towards the turnbuckle which makes it seem like he plans on running powerbombing her into the exposed turnbuckle. However, Shadow counters the move as they get very close to the turnbuckle. She slides off of Watters’s back away from the turnbuckle and instantly does a mule kick to him which sends him stomach first to the turnbuckle. Watters starts walking backwards and is now holding his stomach from the pain of the exposed turnbuckle as Shadow runs and bounces off a nearby set of ropes and as she comes back he dives at Tony to connect with a massive diving closeline. Larry Milligan: What a match, this one isn't over by a long shot. Shadow picks up Watters and the two begin a fist battle, Shadow throws a right which is blocked and Watters then kicks her in the stomach. Larry Milligan: Oh man, this is not good. Ben Watters has Shadow set up for something nasty, looks like he may be about to lift her up for a vertical suplex... He's just taunting her! Rick Malone: Yeah, that's what makes this funny. He was obviously right about her not being able to handle competing with him. Larry Milligan: He goes to lift her up- OH! Before Ben Watters can lift her up for the move, Shadow pivots and seamlessly connects with a hard kick to his jaw that sends Watter's straight down to the mat on his back. Rick Malone: What the hell was that?! Larry Milligan: Looked to me like an outside hook kick to the jaw of a very cocky Watters. Serves him right. Rick Malone: Ref! Disqualify her! Larry Milligan: What is she setting up for now? With the grace of a gymnast, Shadow steps across the ring, crosswise of Watters, judges her distance and springs into the air with a backhandspring, immediately after it hitting a devastating standing moonsault onto the prone Watters! Larry Milligan: Stick a fork in him, he's done! Rick Malone: I doubt that. What a showoff. Larry Milligan: At this point, I don't even know how either competitor has the energy to keep going. Rick Malone: Yeah, but look at Benny- he's a big ol' boy. Shadow will fall short. In the ring, Shadow begins to climb the ropes. Larry Milligan: What's this... Shadow's going up top! Rick Malone: That is nothing short of suicide right now, this girl's brains must be totally out of whack! She is on about the second rope when Watters attempts to pull her down. She smacks him with a hard back kick to the jaw that sends him stumbling backwards, and within a few moments, she has nimbly hopped to the top rope, gained her balance, and... she flings herself off, rotating madly in the air! She crashes down onto Watters, and both competitors go down hard. Larry Milligan: Watters didn't expect that one, I can tell you that. Shadow may have him here. Rick Malone: It was a cheap move! That's the only way she can beat him! Larry Milligan: Yeah, but you say everything she does is cheap, so... we'll just take what you say with a grain of salt. The fans are cheering as Shadow hooks Watters' leg. Jim Avant: 1... 2... Rick Malone: No! No way! Shoulder up by Watters! Larry Milligan: He's tenacious; I'll give him that. Rick Malone: He knows what he deserves! Shadow picks Watters back up with her right hand and holds his stomach, his head with her left hand. Shadow walks the turnbuckle and gets to the middle turnbuckle. Shadow hooks Watters’s head for a Tornado DDT. Watters counters by punching her in the sides repeatedly and then Watters climbs the turnbuckle to get to the second turnbuckle forcing Shadow to go to the top turnbuckle. Watters hooks Shadow in a Belly to Belly but Shadow counters by head-butting Watters. Watters lets go of the Belly to Belly and Shadow hooks Watters’s head again. Shadow leaps from the turnbuckle and turns in middle air. She drives Watters’s head straight into the mat with an incredible Tornado Death DDT. Shadow goes for the pin...the crowd chant with the referee’s count... 1... 2... 3! Stacy Alexis: Winner of this match and still SWA champion… Shadow! Dante meets Shadow in the ring and the two give a quick embrace and then head to the back but before doing so she takes one last look at Watters who now lies on the ground, breathing heavily. Larry Milligan: Its over, its finally over, what a match, Shadow has defeated Watters. Rick Malone: Eh he just had jet lag coming from New York. Larry Milligan: Watters gave a valiant effort, I'll give him that. |
