Jun30-2009--The literally inept yusuf-zardari regime is known for its cruelty towards teh people and that image continues...yesterday as the countries famed mangla power station went out of circulation due to a burning of control and power cables...teh government announced that it was raising petroleum prices... mostly used in transportation, electricity generation and domestic/commercial generators teh government was clearly unworried that it would have an effect on prices and that it had been making billions which could be used to cushion the raise or it could decrease teh unnecessary carbon surcharge...teh governments cruelty was started when it raised wheat prices to help rich farmers and literally pulled or snatched teh staple roti from teh hands of hungry poor children...teh surge in prices some as high as a 100% that followed its fiscal mayhem has never been seen in pakistans history...it than tried to suggest that inflation had been reduced...while inflation calculations include price hikes it than forgets about it as prices than donot fall as inflation starts falling...as for teh sasti roti it never reached its target poor population however teh industrialist natured shabaz started a scheme for automatic roti plants with two tobe installed in a district and was also considering the sasti daal as a salan for the dry sasti roti......
Jun30-2009--as clashes broke out in north waziristan..the military upped teh toll from sundays convoy attack in north waziristan to 27 killed including three officers...wacha Bibi is a narrow mountain pass which was littered with destroyed army vehicles..the army killed another five in retaliatory firing...an agreement with the regime was scrapped by the taleban in north waziristan as the militants allied themselves with baitullah mehsud ...the government had to attack as teh taleban continued their murderous ways...several militants killed in military action around tank

Jun26-2009--In what is seen by many as a particularly nasty attack on punjab zardari ordered teh closing of the indus river links to punjab to give sindh 25000 cusecs of punjabi water...what is seen as particularly damaging is that there is no shortage of water at this time and sindh has made it an yearly habit of crying about water shortages and has been getting increasingly more water every year since teh tarbela dam was built...tarbela many note used to fill up by Jun15 but sindhs increasing withdrawals cause it to fill late and cause substantial losses in teh all important electricity generation...institutionally this is the job of Irsa and Zardari deliberately bypassed it showing his sindhi dictatorialism...many note that zardari has been fighting to get equality with his wife even after her death and many note a recent television report in which both Zardari and benazirs photos were hung together...it is almost similar to the much derided pervez elahi attempt who hung musharafs photos with that of teh quaid e azam...many regard zardari as not of the same level or quality of leader as Benazir even though he has been able to keep together PPP's top subordinate natured heirarchy bringing back some benazir opponents and sidelining a possible opponent or two...losing only a few at teh top in the first year...by the end of five years many suggest that he will probably be handling PPP's children...?

Jun25-2009--some jokers suggest that teh 1973 constitution which survives because nothing that replaces it will be successful either as everyone has their own views about teh constitution in various areas... many suggest that since all governments recent and past do/did whatever they wanted whatever teh laws and constitution..one prominent lawyer and people in teh army thought that coups were legal and that army chiefs had teh constitutional right to takeover or become president...the SC even allowed one coup plotter to rule for three years...others views change with teh situation they are personally in...a shampoo might not be enough for a bald head many say...there are too many amendments that make one think that precedents are better than a constitution..what difference does it make if teh president or teh prime minister has teh power to dismiss parliament since both are not answerable to the people...the parliament too should not have teh right to transgress its authority and approve things that were illegal under teh law such as coups and martial laws...many suggest a major change that secessionist, rebellious or anti country groups and parties be banned immediately...why allow the propagation of anti state politics...others also suggest taht the government be bound with teh overall good of teh people and not the policies of foriegn countries or institutions...many also suggest that teh constitution is so damaged that various groups use it for changing priorities and helping out their personal provinces for example what right has zardari to hold meetings in sindh when he never has held even one in punjab or nwfp......might be the primeminister and president should have four wives from four provinces as in canada...the primeminister also rushes off to his area and finds things in lahore not available to him in islamabad...although many doubts exist as to what they are...others suggest that it might be time for another constituent assembly as parliament is not really authorized to rewrite teh constitution...others suggest that teh SC be given teh right to overthrow bad constitutional changes...as far as financial distribution is concerned many donot accept teh sindh views as it has done quite well and wherever there are more people there are more cities and more problems so population should be the major divider for fiinances ..however whenever or wherever there is a need teh federal governments should provide funds or reappropriate as teh federal government does not develop on a population basis...technical help should be freely provided by all governments to each other and parliament can always be asked for special development resources...in effect if government does not function for the betterment of teh people nothing will matter
