In perhaps a perverse homage to Ricky Jay, Hisoka ("The Magician") has perfected the art of killing people with playing cards.
He was disqualified from last-year's exam for almost killing the judge and twenty others during the exam.
During this exam, he's killed several contestants in the Numelle Marshes and, later on, Gereta.
Hisoka's whimsical, lethal and unusually talented.
