Plot Synopsis:
Strange things happen in a small village when an archaeologist digs up ruins of a former snake-cult that predates Christianity; people start spewing venom and offering sacrifices to the great worm that lives under the earth. Originally taken from a Bram Stoker short story.
Favorite Moments:
- Catherine Oxenberg's line: "We stayed up all night....dancing!"
- Amanda Donohoe killing a hitchhiker by inviting him into her hot tub and injecting paralyzing venom to his, er, penis.
- Hugh Grant, back in the early days, as a delightfully spoiled nobleman
- Amanda Donohoe with a strap-on phallic horn and the immensely cheesy large worm that tries to eat Catherine Oxenberg
- The villagers becoming snake-beings and spitting venom. Guess it's one way to keep the tourists at bay.
