Site visit by Mr Jon Gonzales and Mr Berkemier: Mr Jon was asking for layout of MSI campus.

Malaysian-Spanish Institute (MSI) is a collaboration project between Malaysia and Spain.It's a project developed by MARA as an advance technical intitute to provide the course in the field of automotive engineering technology.

This Institute is being built on a 39.27 acres land in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah. The construction of this building has started in May 2001 and is schedule to complete in August 2003. The campus that is estimated at RM45.5 million is being constructed by KTPC Construction Sdn. Bhd. a subsidiary of Kulim Technology Park Corporation (KTPC) Sdn. Bhd. The overal Project cost is estimated at RM107 millionwith RM32.68 million ( US$8.55 million) contribution from Spanish Government ( grant & soft loan).

At initial stage MSI used KHTP Bussiness Centre as a temporary campus.
