The younger scouts stood outside watching. Not long before they had seen warm feeling spirits racing twords the power in the distance. They heard the cry of the earth as the final energy of the two forces clashed and disolved. They cried hearing the final wishes of their exausted princess. They made one final decision as sailor scouts. They would grant the grieving clild her one final wish. Usagi needed Rei, Mako, Minako, and Ami. Their time would come again.

The snow hid the advancement of the final member of the group that arrived in these wastelands. His white outfit blended in with the deathly ice. It was over before he even arrived. He could not save the girl. He didn't meet her, yet he felt the desire to protect her. As if his only wish were for her. He made it in time to heal his brother from the wound inflicted upon him by the witch. He broke the silence with questions about their health. The tension dissapated. The scouts became girls again. Kiko took his hand. "They are going to live again, Moshe." He turned his head away, "You don't know what that involves."

Chime- Yes, we do. We were willing to die for her before, how could we take away her reason for living. I've known you since first grade, and I know you can understand what I mean.

Kariko- I'm not ment for a life of constant fighting and hiding away. I couldn't stand living without people wanting to be like Kariko the teen idol. You were my manager for a while, you understand.

Pyluu- Moshe, you have been my friend too. You've protected me when I acted foolish. You don't need to protect me now.

Kiko- I don't understand. Wait-no, I do. You've known all along. You found us and were became friends even before we understood. You protected us so that we could come to this point. Maybe you didn't know that this would be our step, but it's the only choice we can morally accept. You taught us that too. "When it's more important to make another happy than yourself, you have only one option open. To do it." I don't want to live with regrets.

Moshe- There is nothing I can say to dissuade you. *Consider my loss*

Girls- No.

The girls beckoned Rei, Ami, Minako and Makoto with a spirit call. They exchanged places with the spirits, and watched as new life came to their bodies. The most pronounced change came when Chime's/Ami's hair turned blue. More suble changes happened to the other girls. Pyluu's body gained muscle and hight, Kariko's body gained more curves and her hair became thicker, and Kiko's body seemed more graceful somehow. Kiko sadly thought that they unfortuantly wouldn't remember anything. The spirits left.

Moshe stood in avid facination as the changes happened. He turned away when they ended. He couldn't leave the bodies out here where they would die, though. Neither could her carry them. He would make his friends' deaths meaningful even if it cost him as much. Even as he used up the last of his power, he remembered them, and he remembered his inablitity to protect the princess. Until she and the scouts were safe again, he would also watch over them.

Four beautiful baby girls were born on that day. The doctors said that they were star children. They each shone bright colors, and had symbols upon there foreheads. The shining babies after the ending of what became known as the first great teror, became symbols of hope, freedom, and strength. Yet somehow, all legal records of their birth were destroyed only days after their birth.

Ironically, Kiko's sister had been pregnant when Kiko left, and was devistated when the last member of her family had been written up as being missing. Kiko's sister boasted that her sister had been born with the same light around her. The woman kissed her husband when at last he indulged her by naming the girl Kiko.
