Booking Information

A deposit of 50% of the rent will confirm a reservation. As a general rule, the balance of the rent is due 30 days prior to arrival, but if you book just a few days in advance, please refer to the "Late Bookings" conditions..

Once details have been confirmed to you by e-mail or paper mail, a contract shall be deemed to exist between you and us, and all booking conditions - including cancellation charges - shall apply. We will finally accept and confirm your booking only upon receival of the part paymenyt.

LATE BOOKINGS - Late bookings are those made within 4 weeks of departure. Full payment will be due immediately.

- CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT

Based upon the date on which we receive written notification of a cancellation by you, or the booking being cancelled by us due to non-payment, the following charges shall apply: 4 weeks or more before the departure date specified on the confirmation invoice, the requisite deposit. Between 4 and 2 weeks prior to the departure date a charge of 75% of the total holiday cost. Less than 2 weeks prior to the departure date the cancellation charge is 100%.

- CANCELLATION BY US

Although it is highly unlikely that we will have to make any changes to confirmed arrangements, if this should happen we will advise you at the earliest date possible, we will cancel the booking and refund the full amount paid to us for your holiday at Il Cardo, but we shall not be liable for any cancellation charges for travel arrangements or any other expense on your side.

Other information

You may borrow from us an iron and a hair-dryer, if you haven't got yours with you.

If you need to use our washing machine, we will charge 3 euros for each wash..

To safeguard the health and comfort of residents and guests, you are kindly requested to avoid smoking inside the house.

Guests are not allowed to bring along animals of any kind. And please take note we have kittens, living outdoors.

More information about our apartments

Before you arrived, the apartment has been thoroughly cleaned. If your are not satisfied with it, please let us know, and we will check that everything is in order. Before you leave, the apartment will have to be cleaned, and all rubbish removed from the baskets. If you ask us, we will show you where to dump the different sorts of waste materials (there are containers along the roads). In case you decide to have the apartment cleaned by a cleaning service, please let us know beforehand, because we need to make arrangements with a person who will take charge of that. If not done by you, the final cleaning will cost you 35 euros.

In the apartments, gas (for heating and kitchen stove), water and electricity are billed separately at cost prices. If you ask us, we will inform you about the current rates.
