Okay first off I made most of these schools up because I don't know anything about the schools in Edmonton. Well....besides the university. So if your character doesn't fit in with any of these schools feel free to make up your own.

Edmonton Comprehensive High School, Grades 10 to 12. It is more commonly known as The Comp. Average run of the mill public high school. You have your extracurricular activities, sports (all kinds!!), clubs, committees. You name it!! If you wanna join something chances are The Comp will have it! But the most popular activities are its sports. The Comp is renowned for its many award winning sport teams. This is the largest high school in Edmonton.
Attendees: Deon Gray (Sailor Gaea)

Edmonton Comprehensive Junior High, grades 7 to 9. It is located in the same area as The Comp, and is basically the same idea only for junior high kids. It is the largest junior high in Edmonton. Like The Comp it is very sports orientated.

St. Agnes Academy for Girls, a catholic private school which is (duh!) all girls, and run by nuns and priests, like most catholic schools. Complete with uniforms and everything. You gotta love those plaid skirts and knee high socks! Many students here are "problem" girls who need a little "discipline" to straighten up. It is a large campus with the students living in dorms usually with three other room mates. There are a ton of rules, but as most of us know rules were meant to be broken ^_~

Institute of the Arts, a co-ed private school from grades 9 to 12. The main focus of this school is, of course, the arts! Singing, acting, dancing, drawing, music... It is a very prestigous school filled with talented students. Most of them come from wealthy families, but there is the odd scholarship student kicking about.

University of Alberta, this is an actual university in Edmonton. The campus is absolutely enormous. Over 20,000 students!! You can study practically anything your little heart desires. The have fraternities, soriorities, clubs (even an anime one!), and more. You can live on campus if you want. You can even study to become a doctor at the university hospital.

Academy for Intellectual Minds, yah, okay I was short on names, but that is beside the point. The Academy is for those above average students, grades 7 to 12. Many of the students are studying university courses. It is a public school in essence (meaning no tuition) but you have to qualify academically first.

Edmonton Comprehensive Middle School, Grades 3 to 6. It is a public school for the kiddos. It is pretty much like The Comp and the Junior High. It has a full range of extracurricular activities to enjoy.

If your character doesn't really fit into any of these schools then you can make up your own, but make sure you provide a description of it. If you have questions send my an email at pink_ajah@hotmail.com
