Comparison

Sorry guys, I really can't help but to compare these two.. Well, some people are really comparing them. They say that they are quite simillar. Maybe with the character design, yes since Yoshihiro Tagashi made them both. And they do resemble each other. But they have a lot of dissimilarities too they are not that really similar on things, like on their character and their weakness.. etc.. To start, here's some of their similarities.. Both of them are one of my favorite characters.. (hehe) they both have good taste on clothes.. okay, okay, seriously, similarities first, they both have a tragic family background (sorry peeps, I can't tackle this one here since most of you already know this and there's plenty of hiei shrines you can find out there..) Hiei was thrown out of his village because he has this power of producing flame. While Killua's story is that he is being maltreated as a part of his training as an assassin. *sweat drops* I tackled both of them.. Nnyways.. They both have their sister and friends too. They both run things their own way and they have similar way in fighting (the I-am-so-cold-I-have-no-mercy-i'm-gonna-kill-you type). They are both feared by people arround them. They both like to sleep and hang around. They are both strong. That's all of their similarities I can think of..


And now, their differences (drum rolls).. Okay, to start, killua has a light hair and hiei has dark. I like Killua than Hiei.. Seriously, Killua uses his streangth and nen as his weapon, while Hiei uses his sword (though sometimes, he uses his spiritual streangth and his weapon was set aside). Somehow, you can say that they both are cold but Killua is more of the cheerful and charming side and hiei on the other hand is on the very-serious-don't-disturb-me-while-i'm-sleeping side. Killua has a light attitude, unlike hiei that's very serious at all times that he can't afford to smile. Killua shows his care to his friends while hiei does not (at least, not to his friends but with his only sister).. maybe he does express them on his special way. And lastly, Killua has his annoying brothers while hiei has none (since he has no brothers at all.) Well.. for now, that's all i can think of. If you have anything in mind, pls. e-mail them to me. Hiei fans, don't want to flame a fight here or something ^^. Last, I think the one that really resembles Hiei in attitude is Killua's brother, Illumi.
