Dear Readers,

I want to open my heart to you for just a moment. As ministers and servants Pat and I are very much aware of the mandate from God to feed and nurture His people. The driving force of what we do on a day to day basis and in our meetings is that of being involved in the lives of people that we serve. We see the struggles and their sorrows as we walk with them in their walk toward their destiny. They add much value to our life and they make being a servant and ministry leader worthwhile. Pat and I are also constantly aware of God's mandate to reach out and minister to the nations and impact a gereration with His power and with His unconditional love. The day we are now living in as it goes on I feel will reveal the Hand of God as never before--and I believe we will see each other grasping the destiny for which God has created us.

Many of you have been a great encouragement and help to Pat and I and we value you as a friend and partner in this ministry. It brings joy to our hearts as we see the principals that the Holy Spirit has gave us to give you being applied in your life.

I have been working on a new series concerning Abraham and his walk of faith. It says of Abraham that he was a friend of God. The word for "friend" in the Hebrew describes a close, personal confidant of a king, with whom the king consulted on all-important matters related to the operation of his kingdom. God considered Abraham someone with whom He could share His heart. Do you remember the scripture that says, "Shall I hide from my friend Abraham what I am about to do?" This was in reference to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorah. Abraham was invited to give input and share his heart with God, and he did, and God listened! Jesus makes the same statement to His disciples during the week of His passion when He says: "No longer do I call you servants, I call you friends, because a servant does not know what his master is doing. But all things that I have heard from My Father, I have revealed them to you. You are my friends."

A lasting relationship must be built on friendship and connection. Even though you may not be with us locally, we are still connected. We can do more together that you may have thought possible. I would like that very much. I want to build a life-long relationship with friends that long to participate with me in this journey at a deeper level. Many of you have come to us in meetings and said "I want to partner with you", "I want to be part of your ministry", and "how can we partner with you"? Pat and I want to partner with you, however, we don't want another "partner" just to say you are on the mailing list--I want a friend. A friend was born for adversity and some friends stick closer that a brother or a sister.

I want to propose that if you are participating as a friend of this ministry with a regular monthly contribution fo $30.00 or more, you can expect certain things from me that others would not be aware of such as--
1). Special meetings just for you where we will have the opportunity to pour into you and pray for you and get feedback from you as to what your felt needs are.
2). A prayer-trust with you where we share in the ongoing warfare that we are waging against the powers of darkness--as we seek to see people healed, empowered and transformed from the inside out.
3). Special letters with a word from what I feel the Lord is saying to us today.

Pat and I want you as our friend--someone close who can be part of the process of making those things a reality because God joined you to us. I want you to receive a level of reward from Him for you participation in the outreach. I firmly believe that friendship is of a higher level than partnership. Friendship is relationship based. The kingdom of heaven is all about relationship. It will be the only legacy we leave behind for others to grow on.

I want to bring your personal growth in God to a more personal level as you fight the fight of faith with me against the forces of darkness as a friend. If you will be a friend with us and sow a monthly seed of $30.00, $50.00 or $100.oo, I will see to it that you have opportunities to participate at a new level of involvement with Pat and I and ILWM.
