Here are some work in progress pictures of the dune buggy, the dates are on the pictures so you can see how things are coming along.
A TURBO charged pinto engine, when I get this thing running and mounted on the car, I am gonna have some fun! I think that with as little weight in the front as I have, I will be popping wheelies! (the engine mounts in back!) |

The FREE turbo pinto engine that I will install once I get the cash for an adapter plate. |

I just got my turn brake installed, thanks to Dr. Craig to his contribution to my dune buggy! |

recently installed this set of peddals that Craig gave me. He basically gave me my brake system. |

Master brake cylinder that came with the peddals Dr. Craig gave me. How a chiropractor got into this sport I shall never know. |

got the new front tires on with a set of stock vw rims I found at a junk yard for $10.00 each. |

Here we have the installation of the gas tank. I decided to bolt it onto the top of the roll bar. I figured, if I do roll over, I have bigger things to worry about than a crushed gas tank. and I decided to bolt it on, rather than weld it on for easy removal.
Here you can see how I mounted the tank on, I used some scrap pieces of steel to bolt onto. I tapped the bolts straight into the roll bar. |

Here the tank is securely mounted to the dune buggy. It's not going anywhere. |

A shot of how the tank looks on the car.                                                       |
