Okay, quick note, but I use the name "Robert" because, well, I don't know his Japanese
name. If anyone knows it, I'd be grateful if you told me ^_~. Well I'll let you get on to
the story.

Disclaimer: Ami just e-mailed me the details of the lab analysis! I knew you'd be just as
excited about it as I was, so I'm reading it as I'm typing it. The 5th grade science project
was found to have:
1) Iron II sulfate
2) Xanthan gum, guar gum, gum acacia, and chewing gum
3) Milkduds
This makes me think that it was one of those volcano things before it turned to the Dark
Kingdom. No rights, though. I don't know minna. I begining to run out of ideas on
where to look for them.
I guess Naoko-chan owns the rights to Sailor Moon. No joke.
I don't own Milkduds, either.

Mamoru entered the Metallic Dragon and spoke to the secretary. Upon hearing
that he wasn't a beginner, she explained how things worked. Kaijin-sensai had the
beginners and less skilled students trained by her helpers, but supervised them. Kaijin-
sensai trained the most skilled personally. Therefore, if he decided to take karate here, he
would first be observed by Sensai to properly place him. He assured the secretary that he
wished to join, and was ready to meet Kaijin-sensai this moment, if possible. The
secretary told him to take a seat, as Kaijin-sensai would be with him in just a moment.

*~*~*~*~*~*

	"Kaijin-sensai?"

	"Hai."

"There's a new pupil here. A Chiba Mamoru. Chiba-san needs a diagnostic on his
ability to be placed."

"Tell him I'll be with him in a moment." Kaijin hung up the phone.

Kaijin turned on her security monitor and turned it to look at the new student.

The man was very handsome. He
reminded her of someone from her past, she mused as she twirled a lock of ruby red hair.

~flashback~
*~*~*~*~*~*

A young girl of 14 sat alone on the steps of the school.

The girl was beautiful - with long, silky red hair that was pulled half up and
twisted into a unique design - three buns, arranged in an upside down equilateral triangle,
and the rest ran down her back in spiral waves. She already had a womanly figure, and
she couldn't walk down the street without someone asking her out, or at least eyeing her
body.

She loved the attention. She was a romantic at heart, though, and she had her eye
on one particular man.

He was the most gorgeous in the school. An upperclassman. He was tall,
probably 6'1'', and had beautiful ebony hair. He had the most stunning blue eyes, that
shifted and swirled its color as if it were pools of water instead blocks of color. She
could lose herself in those eyes. She could lose herself in him.

She had decided to make him fall in love with her. She was young and beautiful,
but also very clever. She arranged it for a teacher to ask him to tutor her, as if it weren't
her idea in the slightest. The boy agreed.

They met in her apartment. Her parents worked at night, and so they were the
only ones there.

"Robert!" she greeted him at the door, beckoning him through the doorway.
"Thank you so much for helping me out. I just don't get this algebra stuff at all."

She gave him a coquettish look, slightly fluttering her eyelashes. The look did not
escape him. He gave a confident smile in return.

They sat on the sofa, side by side, book shared between them as he explained
basic concepts. She already knew them, and she thought he knew that too. She leaned
into him. Soon, his arm snaked around her waist. He moved the book to the table, and
turned to her.

He was kissing her. Fervently, passionately. Her body felt pleasurably on fire as
the passion erupted between them. His hands were dancing on her skin. She sighed with
enjoyment. She had always hoped it would be this good.

she thought idly as he rained little kisses on her neck.

	"Robert. . ." she moaned.

*~*~*~*~*~*

She entered the Crown Game Center the next day after school, confident that she'd
find her sexy lover there.

	He was.

	He wasn't alone.

She went up to him. He seemed to be having a private moment, she noticed with
narrowed eyes, with the girl Kinako.

	"Robert. . ." she began.

He looked at her, annoyed. "Can't you see I'm with my girlfriend right now? You
got what you needed last night, but that doesn't mean anything to me." Kinako looked at
him, a question in her eyes. "Kinako, this is the girl I tutored last night."

"I thought I meant something to you." She said in a low voice, trembling slightly.

Kinako saw the love sick puppy look in her eyes, and decided to set her straight.
"Look, little girl. The only reason Robert tutored you was for the extra credit. Just
because he went to your apartment doesn't mean anything. I'm his girlfriend, and I see
this all the time. Robert's a nice guy, but just because he's nice to you doesn't mean that
he's in love with you! Why don't you just do us all a favor and get lost?" Their friends
listening began to snicker.

She just left as fast as she could, her red hair flying behind her.

"I can't believe that girl thought I liked her. I mean, really. Did you see her hair?
It's so weird."

	*~*~*~*~*~*

Her heart was pounding from all the running, her eyes wet from weeping. She
pulled herself into a dark alley, just wanting to get away from it all.

	 she promised herself.

Slowly, she collected herself. The tears stopped flowing, never to flow again.
The bright, naive light in her eyes extinguished forever. The warm heart replaced by a
cold, calculating mind.

She stood up, and released her buns. The hair tumbled down her back. Gone was
her innocence, and so symbolically, gone was her childish hairstyle.

She heard giggles of a few school girls. She withdrew herself into the shadows of
the alley.

"Can you actually believe that girl? Thinking she could steal my boyfriend? She's
an underclassmen, and not even pretty!! What was she thinking?" Kinako asked her girl
friends.

"I know! You are so totally better looking, Kinako! You sure showed her."

"Yeah," another girl agreed. "She definitely won't be showing her face around the
Crown any more." They all snickered.

Meanwhile, the red head heard all of this. Her blood boiled. She decided to teach
that Kinako a lesson. Just as Kinako walked past the alley, she was quickly grabbed by
the hair and thrown against the wall. Kinako's head made a bloody thud upon contact
with the brick wall. She threw Kinako to the ground, kicked her in the stomach, in the
face. Kinako moaned in pain, in shock of what was happening.

She knelt down, and began punching the girl in the face. Soon hands of the two
girls with whom Kinako had been walking grabbed at her, pulling her away. She began
to fight them as well, leaving Kinako on the ground unconscious.

The memory became blurry. Some how, she won it. In the end, Kinako and one
other girl was sprawled on the alley floor, unconscious. The third was pressed against the
wall, half standing, looking at her in fear.

"Please. . .Stop. . .I'm sorry." The girl began to cry pitifully.

She simply glowered at the whimpering girl. She wiped her mouth with a bloody
hand, leaving a bright red streak across her face. To the girl, she looked even more
menacing, with the bloody swipe across her face, a sea of the same color hair to frame it.

Idly, she thought She stalked away from her pray. A
blood lust was just created.

*~*~*~*~*~*

Kaijin snapped out of her reverie of her childhood, and signaled for Mamoru to
come into her office. She had decided something. She was going to win this one. Less
naive, more cunning, this time she was prepared.

He entered her office. She stood up and bowed, as did he. He seemed surprised
that she was so young (she was only 26), but quickly hid the fact.

"Kaijin-sensai. I am Chiba Mamoru, and I wish to be in your school."

"Please," she replied with a disarming smile. "Call me Beryl."
