We moved to Spain. We brought a bar called the Hole In The Wall. And started a new life. Here is a little about our new lifestyle. We live on the Costa Del Sol. In a little Spanish house, it has a communal swimming pool. We have made many friends here more than we ever had in England, Maybe it’s the fact that English here seem to ban together, in an unknown culture. Our bar is small but I like to think it’s friendly, Our welcome is big and we enjoy the lifestyle. It was hard at first, Different language, and trying to understand the Spanish way of life. Everything seems to happen tomorrow, and after leaving the rushing about world of England it takes time to relax and enjoy the chilled out ways of the Spanish. Would I go back to England? At times maybe, yes I am homesick; I miss my family very much, Miss the shops, and understanding the language. Would I go back to the loneliness of England No. I love being with Royston, My wonderful husband. We work together, and have fun, I don’t think Royston could work harder to keep me happy and try and help me to settle in this new land. On the next page are some pictures of our bar and the way of life we have here. If you are thinking of coming to Spain, do not think it’s easy, but if you work hard at this new lifestyle I think you could enjoy it very much. But be sure of one thing, you have to change your ways, enjoy the chilled out lifestyle, no rushing about, take life one step at a time, and happiness will come your way. Many have dreams of this land and moving here, we took the chance and I for one do not regret this move how could I? I am with the one I love, and would follow him anywhere. Hand in hand we enjoy this new land |
