The following pictures were taken in the vicinity of Mar-Kezhayya Monastary in the Valley of Kadisha in North Lebanon. Kezyahha means "The Treasure of Life" in the old Syriac language. Kadisha means "Blessed" in the same language.

The first printing press in the whole middle east was introduced to Mar-Kezhayya monastary in the 16th Century A.D. by a Maronite Catholic monk. The first print ever of the Psalms in Arabic was printed in this monastary in the year 1610 A.D.
