PHYSICS: THE STUDY OF NATURAL PHENONOMAN BASED ON GRAVITY Gravity coupled with friction and motion will be your median. Interlocking these aspects of physics will get you started in controling your horse without the reigns. Gravity: can never be defied. So the rider is defining force when riding. The center of gravity for the horse is at the withers. If I were to lean to the left in the saddle and bring it with me the horse would follow. The heaviest part would be leaning left and the horse will follow the most gravity- Thus balancing himself. Friction: If we squeeze witth our calves and push the saddle forward, the horse will move forward. With out the friction of the calves squeezing , we couldn't push the saddle forward If done rythmicly and leaning back your horse will produce motion to keep in balanced with gravity. Motion: Relies on gravity and friction together. Remember when asking for a movement the release is most important unless your horse will build up a resistantce. Remember to lean back in all movements. lean back= go forward lean left =go left lean right =go right squeeze, pause, lean back = stop |

For us to read our horses physicially we need to first know them emotionally. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
