CONQUERING THE DIGITAL DIVIDE
When you are unable to read, you are unable to use the computer - simple tasks such as using the Internet and writing letters are impossible. This display is a portrayal of how a computer may look when you don’t grasp letters or words.

The ‘Digital Divide’ is an official term used by the Depart of Education to describe the different between those who have personal use of computers verses those who do not.
THE ILLITERATE PERSON
Have you ever met an illiterate person? This piece is an exploration of a person who you might of met, but chances are you never knew they could not read. You could work with them, ate with them or even a family member. Illiteracy is silent, but comes in human form.
FOR EMERGENCY USE ONLY
The reference books we use today could be regulated if you don’t know how to use them.This exhibit demonstrates and explores the commonplace usage of a dictionary. It brings focus a commodity of knowledge that can only be used when the glass is broken.
