| Interestingly enough, the art of Cubism has affected the business world as well. A company by the name of "Qbizm", has developed Internet applications based on the art of Cubism as stated in their website. On their site, the company has an enitire page dedicated to Cubism, what it is and how it came about. Also stated in their site, the company claima they helps deliver and deploy " the added value software building blocks for sophisticated and scalable internet business solutions" (qbizm.com). They claim that the similariities with thier work and Cubism is that they are both "challenges" to others. The company has reprtedly been very successful in their job and have worked wirh big computer companies such as Sun Microsystems. Unfortunately, I am not too clear on what their applications exactly do, due to the fact that on the site the company does not explain what the programs do. To me, it seems that the descriptions are a little vague, but that is probably because I don't understand the actual words within the sentences! |
