Introduction to Cubism
"The key concept of Cubism is that the essence of objects can only be captured by showing it from multiple points of view simaltaneously" (artcyclopedia.com).  As I have research this form of art, I have learned that Cubists' try to make their art look unnatural and want their viewers to notice the difference Cubistic art makes.  They want their viewers to be challenged and to think about what they are looking at.  The artists take a picture apart, but make sure the viewers can eventually see the overall picture that is being painted.  This not only makes viewing art fun and interesting, but also strikes curiosity within the viewers mind.  Take a closer look at the above art works by various artists and see the difference of Cubism for yourself.  It is clear that the affect of the picture on the eye is confusing at first, but enjoyable as well.  When you're done let me know what you think by e-mailing me .
