Fall Fatal to "Jack" Tucker




Funeral services for Jackson G. Tucker, 89 year old pioneer cityan, will be held at 4pm today from the First Baptist Church.

On ill health for the past two years, Mr. Tucker fell at his home, 125 S. Burgess, one week ago suffering a broken hip. He died in a local hospital at 7:45 pm Thursday.

Rev. Earl Stark, pastor, will conduct the services with burial in the Holdenville Cemetery under direction of Mackey Funeral home.
Bearers will include: Dee Terry, John Moore, C.C. Stanford, J.O. Elliston Sr., Leo Middleton, and Leon Akin.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Spears, Santa Maria, Ca. & Mrs. R.C. Rosenzest, Santa Barbara, Ca., one grandchild and one great grandchild.

Mr. Tucker was born July 1, 1858 at Adkins, Arkansas.
