Elementary
School
The principal objective of
IMARC's elementary school is the adequate formation of bilingual and bicultural
individual, that will have a strong and firm caracter to confront and understande
the actual situation the country is going trough, as well as the world
in general. This is for him to meet up with today's expectations and future
expectations that society is demanding.
Elementary school has six grades, and bases its work
on the programs given by the Secretaría de Educación Pública
(Public Education Departament) for the Spanish courses; (Spanish, Mathematics,
History, Geography, Social Studies and Physical Education). It also has
a complete and specific progrmam for the English courses (Reading skills,
Reading comprehension, Oral English and comprehension , Composition, Spelling,
Science and Health) . In the elementary program we also have computers,
cultural and library programs.
IMARC's schedule is from 7:55 to 14:00 hrs., using
half of the time for each program (Spanish- English). 0.
At the end of these six years, students are capable
of speaking, comprhending, reading and writing both languages. They are
also ready to continue their studies either in the Mexican program (Educación
Secundaria) as well as the American program (Jr. High School Studies).
