Dear Friends and Family, I am walking/running in The National City Dexter Ann Arbor run on Saturday, May 26, 2001.  I am joining a team of several dozen people I work with at MAIS (Michigan Administrative Information Services) along with some of their friends and family.  In conjunction with the walk/run, we are raising money for a local charity, Safe House.  Safe House is a domestic violence shelter that serves Washtenaw County.  Last year, this team of runners and walkers raised over $8000 for Safe House by collecting pledges from hundreds of people.  We hope to raise that amount again this year.  If you are interested in supporting this effort, please send a check payable to "Safe House" to my home address: <insert your home address> Your contribution is tax deductible.  If you would like to learn more about this charity, please visit them online at www.comnet.org/dvp/.
