I tested bio's and regular bb's to see which I prefer. I tested these just as I would use them in the field. I loaded them in a high cap mag and left them there for months on end (un-wound of course). I left the bags unsealed while loading and playing. And last but not least I shot a ton of them. Here is what I found. I tested 10 of each bb with a micrometer to see variants in size. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I tested the average shot grouping out of a TM sig 552 from 20 feet taken indoors.
After firring over ten thousand bio BBS and many more thousand regular BBS I have found that I prefer Bio BBS. The environmental bonus is worth a few extra dollars to me. I have had none break in my gun, none jam my gun, and none swell from moisture under normal use. I have seen them break on impact, but I have also seen heavier weight regular BBS I guess due to density, do the same. Their accuracy and size is very similar to Regular BBS. Infact the only malfunctions I have had were caused by Regular BBS. Elite .20s will double feed if they shoot at all in my TM mp5 ras. Excel .20s eject four or five each shot from the mag on my KWA M11 (I guess because of their smaller size and that it fires from an open bolt). Things to consider. 1. I would not use a screen mask with bio's, but after shooting regular BBS at close range I would not use one at all. 2. The tightest barrels I used were two 6.03s 3. Bios generally cost almost double. 4. I won't use Eco brand bios. 5. I made these test as scientific as possible, but I don't guarantee them.
