Steering column mount has torch holes from plate that was welded overtop. A reinforcement plate will be added behind this area and rewelded. |

Above you can see the numerous small repairs. Areas to be welded are sandblasted, the steering column mount face has been reinforced and repaired and the dimmer switch recess has been welded in and the holes are ready to be weld patched |
Here the tow missile rack holes have been welded and surface blasting and treating has begun. If you want to sandblast my advice is to invest in a pressure blaster instead of a vacumn blaster. I have a vacumn due to limited resources and can only accomplish a little at a time, therefore I must treat the blasted area as I go to prevent flash rust which takes no time at all to appear in damp conditions |

Above are the battery box views. Note the condition of the floors. This whole body is like new, it really can be seen on the bottom, I think it never saw mud in its very short life. Pics of bottom will be posted later. The sandblasted area on the right pic is for spotwelding the seat pivot mounts. |
