The readers of Alternative Press magazine have voted AFI into the AP Hall Of Fame
"For their contributions not only to punk rock, but also to the past year in music,
which has been one of the greatest we've seen in AP's 19-year history,
AFI have been voted by a majority of readers into the AP Hall Of Fame. The band will join 2002's winner,
GREEN DAY, 2001's pick, THE CURE, and 2000's inaugural champ, DAVID BOWIE."
