The Coronation night shall be held within ten (10) days of the election. The election shall be open to all residents within the Imperial realm and is restricted to those who have attained nineteen (19) years of age. |

Eligible voters are those persons who reside within the geographical boundaries of the Imperial realm |
10.03 |
Eligibility for seeking election as either Emperor or Empress is restricted to those persons who have been a resident and member within the Imperial City for no less than one (1) year from midnight of the first General Meeting. |
10.04 |
An Emperor or Empress who has been impeached shall not be allowed to run for the position of Emperor or Empress. |
10.05 |
An Emperor or Empress who has successfully completed their reign shall not be allowed to run until they have served one (1) year of community service after their dowager year. |
10.06 |
Any person seeking election as either Emperor or Empress must have attained at least twenty-one (21) years of age by the annual Coronation night and not be restricted from international travel. |
10.07 |
The election of the Emperor and Empress shall be administered by the Vice-Chairperson in accordance with the election documents/by-laws. |
10.08 |
Should there be no candidate for the position of either Emperor and/or Empress, the Dowager Monarch(s) will be requested to serve term as Regent(s). |
10.09 |
Should the Dowager Emperor or Empress not accept the request to act as Regent, previous Monarchs shall be requested to serve as Regent(s) in order of latest to earliest. |
10.10 |
Should no previous Monarch accept a request to act as Regent, the latest elected Monarchs shall reign. |
10.11 |
A past Monarch seeking election as either Emperor or Empress shall not be eligible to serve as Regent Emperor or Empress (article 10.09) should they receive a greater number of "no" votes than "yes" votes in a "yes/no" referendum. |
