Akana is our main character of Super Star. She like to sing and dance when there's noone around. She can get discourge very easy whenever someone makes her think that she can't be what she wants. But once she hand a mic in her hand and hear people cheering for her, she become a shinning star and start singing from her heart. She wasn't sure if the band really wanted her or if she had fit well with them, being the only female but soon the boys start to realize that they need her as she need them and become a true band with Akana being the lead singer.

Ryo is like Akana own fairy god mother but with a very bad temper and being a guy. Ryo is the one that is always pushing Akana to not give up and to stand up for what she wants. He give his services to her with a promise of a payment when she becomes a Super Star. Ryo can be so cute when he's anger or when he is thinking of Akana. What get Ryo really mad is when guys is around her and the fact that he can't tell her how he really feels about her. That's why he always get mad when the our band memebers tease him about it but he love them anyway.

JD is the oldest memeber of the group and the first fave for the girls. He is always teasing Ryo about his feelings for Akana. At first, he didn't like the idea of Akana being in the band, saying that she wasn't cute enough and really didn't fit in. But he started to know her and see pass her looks and into her talent. He started to treat her like his little sister and see why Ryo was in love with her.

CJ is the crazy member of the band, always in crazy mood. He like to see Akana have fun and smile, so he always make it his business to do just that. He too didn't want Akana to join but soon he start to like her and started to have fun and see just how much the band needed a voice like that.

A mean and nasty rival of Akana. She really hates the idea of Akana trying to beat her in anything and makes it her job to stop Akana dream.
