DELRIE, WILLIAM
Services for William "Bill" Delrie will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Hixson Bros., Pineville, with the Rev. Michael Hedrick officiating.  Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Pineville.

Delrie, 60, of Pineville died Friday, March 12, 1999, in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

He was a member of Church of Christ, a U.S. Army veteran and a electrical
1 technician for Federal Aviation Administration.

Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Jeansonne Delrie of Pineville; one son, Darren Delrie of Pineville; one
2 brother John Robert Delrie of Montgomery, Ala.; and one grandchild.

DELRIE, PHILLIP
Services in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with burial in Flatwoods Cemetery.

Delrie, 85, of Tioga died Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, in Pineville. He was self-employed in the timber industry as a pulpwood hauler, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a Pentecostal.

Survivors: wife, Clovis Lee Delrie of Tioga; daughter, Betty Moren of Sherwood Forest; sister, Irene Murrell of Hudson Creek; 2 grandchildren;1 great-grandchild.

Pallbearers: Tom O'Donnell, Bill Bridges, Sherman Delrie, Jason Delrie, Kenneth Wyatt and Kevin Wyatt.

DELRIE, HENRY A. ("MR. HENRY")
Died 2:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 1993, at Medical Center of Baton Rouge. He was 80, a native of Mora and a longtime resident of Denham Springs. He was retired from the Louisiana State Department of Highways and was presently employed with the Denham Springs Recreation and Park Department. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 10 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. George Terrell and the Rev. Darrell Whitehead. Burial in Denham Springs Memorial Park.

Survived by wife, Betty Cook Delrie, Denham Springs; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Frank Lamuth, Houston; a son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Alyce Delrie, Denham Springs; two sisters from Alexandria; two brothers from Alexandria; three sisters-in-law, Nira Lewing, Florein, Portia Kennon, Jackson, Miss., and Elaine Fletcher, Denham Springs; two brothers-in-law, Charles and Ronnie Cook, Walker; and four grandchildren, Chris and Chase Delrie, Denham Springs, Paige Harrell, Houston, and Amanda Lamuth, Houston; and a mother-in-law, Della Cook Walker. Preceded in death by parents, Eugene and Ophelia White Delrie; two brothers and two sisters.

Pallbearers will be: Kelton Whitehead, Anthony Dugas, Dr. Joe DePaula, Steve Long, Reuben Spillman, Thomas Fitzgerald, Paige Lamuth, and John Bass.

Honorary pallbearers will be the athletic department of Denham Springs High School and Denham Springs Recreation and Park Department employees and board members.

He was a charter member of Denham Springs High School Jacket-Backers and a member of Northside Baptist Church, Denham Springs.

LACAZE, HAROLD JOSEPH
Mr. LaCaze, 79, of Chopin, La., was born Sunday, Aug. 26, 1923, and died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2003, two days shy of his 80th birthday, in Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital at Alexandria.

Services for Harold Joseph LaCaze will be held at 1 P.M. Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003, in Emmanuel Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Gerald Bordelon officiating.  Burial will be in the Emmanuel Cemetery at Chopin under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Chopin, La.  He was a retired store owner and postmaster at Chopin, with 39 years of service.  He was a member and trustee of The Holy Rosary Catholic Church.  He was also a member of The Retired Postmasters.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.  He helped to form the Lena Water System and was former secretary/treasurer of it for 18 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Felix LaCaze, Jr. and Mrs. Carline DeLacerda LaCaze.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Doris Carnahan LaCaze; one daughter, Marlene LaCaze Palomo and husband, Freddy, of Alexandria; six sons: Dennis L. LaCaze and wife, Sandra, of Kinder; Kenneth LaCaze and wife, Stephanie, of Pineville; Murray LaCaze and wife, Linda, of Natchitoches; Darryl LaCaze and wife, Cindy, of Pineville; Harold J. "Joey" LaCaze, Jr. and Lisa of Winnsboro, Texas; Patrick "Pat" LaCaze and wife, Renée, of Marco; 13 grandchildren: Lisa, Blake, Beth, Bridgette, Cassie, Angie, Anthony, Chaston, Torren, Derek, Zane, Kenessa, and D. J.; five great-grandchildren: Brendyn, Josh, Haile, Austin, and Gavin; six sisters: Lorene Brossett of Muskogee, Okla.; Evelyn Delacerda of Muskogee, Okla.; Thelma Coutee of Chopin; Clara Jones and Jerry of Alexandria; Elouise Hall and husband, Richard, of Tulsa, Okla.; and Linda McCain and husband, Lynn, of Natchitoches; sister-in-law, Vera Mariner, of Chopin; three brothers: Gifford J. LaCaze of San Diego, Calif.; David A. LaCaze and wife, Patricia, of Alexandria; and Carroll F. LaCaze and wife, Willie, of Tioga; brother-in-law, Carroll C. Carnahan and wife, Evelyn, of Chopin; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Jerry Moreau, Blake LaCaze, Anthony Palomo, Johnny Spillman, Donnie Spillman, Doug Coutee, Dan Carnahan, and Bobby Lynn Edwards.

MURRELL, LOYD
Services for Loyd Murrell will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with the Revs. Bruce Maxey and Jimmy Murrell officiating. Burial will be in Coleman Cemetery, Prospect.

Murrell, 85, of Prospect died Saturday, June 24, 2000, in his residence.

He was a logging contractor and had subcontracted welding services for the Department of Transportation and Development. He was co-pastor of Life Tabernacle, Prospect.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Delrie Murrell of Prospect; one son, Loyd David Murrell of Colfax; one daughter, Susan Ann Franklin of Dry Prong; two brothers, Herbert Murrell of Prospect and Jimmy Ray Murrell of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; two sisters, Murlene Murrell Fox of Colfax and Lea Murrell Diehl of Dallas; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

LASYONE, GEORGE C.
Services for George C. Lasyone will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville, with the Rev. Leland Briggs officiating.  Burial will be in Frazier Cemetery.

Lasyone, 73, of Colfax died Friday, July 14, 2000, in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

He was a native of Hudson Creek and retired from the timber industry. He was a former member of Grant Parish School Board and a civil deputy at Grant Parish sheriff's office.   He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle L. Lasyone.

Survivors include three sons, Carl Ray Lasyone and Olen H. Lasyone of Colfax, and Raymond Jake Lasyone of Hudson Creek; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Edward Chelette, Buddy Delrie, Austin Walker, John Rhodes, Eddie Gatlin, David Murrell, Charles Hale and Myron Dubois.

BASCO, EZEKIEL
Ezekiel BASCO, 77, of Pineville died at 10:50 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 1988 in Rapides General Hospital. He was a native of Chopin and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Pineville. He was a retired equipment operator at Central Louisiana State Hospital, Pineville.

Survivors include his wife, Roseline White BASCO of Pineville; three sons, Charles F. BASCO of Tioga, Frank J. BASCO and David W. BASCO, both of Pineville; one daughter, Mary Jane Boniol of Pineville; two brothers, Isiah BASCO of Alexandria and Aubrey F. BASCO of Chopin; three sisters, Mary Alice McKINNEY and Angie Lea VERCHER, both of Boyce, and Annie Mae CARNAHAN of Chopin; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 1988 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Pineville, with Monsignor Henry F. Beckers officiating. Burial was at Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.

Zack Walker, 78, Dies; Rites Held In Sicily Island

WALKER, ZACK
Funeral services for Zack Walker, 78, of Sicily Island were held Tuesday, August 1, 1972 in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Winnsboro with Father Daniel Corkery officiating.

Burial was held in New Pine Hill Cemetery near Sicily Island.

A rosary was held in the chapel of the funeral home.

Mr. Walker died Monday, July 31, 1972 in Catahoula Parish Hospital following a long illness.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Delrie Walker of Sicily Island; three sons, Charlie Glenn Walker of Natchitoches, Earl G. Walker of Sicily Island, and Zack Elbert Walker of Wisner; two daughters, Mrs. Floyd Tolbert of Sikes and Mrs. Wayne Walker of Monroe; three brothers: Albert, Clifford, and Eldon Carnahan; four sisters: Mrs. Lizzie Kerry, Mrs. Daisy Kerry, Mrs. Laura Bynog, and Mrs. Lillie LaCaze, all of Cloutierville; 16 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

DELRIE, TIFFANY NICOLE
Funeral services for Tiffany Nicole Delrie will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2004 at Red Store Pentecostal Church, Hot Wells with Rev. Douglas Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in Frazier Cemetery, Prospect under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mrs. Delrie, age 29, of Atlanta, entered eternal rest Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004 in Pineville.

She was a native of Grant Parish. She was a nurse at Grant Manor Nursing Home and a member of Red Store Pentecostal Church.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, W.A. Delrie.

Survivors include her son, Sean Michael Delrie of Atlanta; her parents, Nelda and Joe Delrie of Atlanta; one brother, Elwin Ray Delrie and wife Cornelia of Montgomery; one sister, Kim Daniels and husband Chadbo of Flatwoods; three nephews and two nieces; maternal grandmother, Toby Davis of Pollock and maternal great-grandfather, George Oliver of New Orleans; also survived by her best friend, Wendy Simmons Bullock of Hudson Creek and her loving companion, Bryan Futrell.

Pallbearers will be Kathryn Davis, Rita Gardner, James Gore, Josh Davis, Ronnie Davis and Dewayne Murrell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Theall and Johnny Sands.

Friends may call Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004 from 4 p.m. until time of services Friday at 2 p.m. at Red Store Pentecostal Church, Hot Wells.
