Structural Steel Boat Launch Ramp Facility

Traditionally, boat launch facilities are constructed using an aggregate such as stone and concrete.  This method requires construction of a cofferdam and then pumping out the water, building forms and pouring the concrete.  This is followed by several weeks of allowing the concrete to cure, pumping the water back in and removing the cofferdam.

It is a labor intensive process and that means costly.  The facility must be either all or partially closed during construction, which means lost revenue for the marina.

We have a very cost efficient alternative. Our Structural Steel Launch Ramp Facility is much safer, boater friendly, speeds launch and removal and may be used the same day it is installed.

A single ramp facility with flotation convenience dock can be installed on your approach apron for as little as $22,000.  Contact us today for a quotation on your project.

The inset, (above left) shows how a structural steel launch ramp can be used to cap an existing facility that is in need of repair or replacement.  This can be completed at a fraction of the cost of total replacement.
The top view shows progressive cross bracing.  The spacing is engineered for the specific load requirements.  The solid pin assembly which attaches the ramp to the shore facility is continuous in order to eliminate the potential for a pinch point between shore and the ramp.
