| ....Aeion is, until now, only comprised of 2 men, Simon Long Krogh ( Keyboards, piano and backing vocals ) and David Bech-Haase ( Lead and backing vocals, lead and rythme acoustic/electric guitars, drums, bass, keyboards and piano ). It´s a progressive metal/rock outfit with a deep, warm spacey atmosphere. Aeion combines long instrumental passages, with hundreds of riffs, chord sequences and time changes, with traditional song structures such as Theme/Verse/Chorus/Theme/Verse/Chorus etc. Aeion experiments with different styles of music, if one was to name bands there would be elements of Duran Duran, Kyuss, Queensr˙che, Tool and Iron Maiden in there, that can be very individually distinguished but, nonetheless, tied together by the presence of minor chords, which gives the music a certain flavour, a SPACE flavour. |
