Danny Ray died suddenly from SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).

It's been over 15 years since my loss..... and since then I've been going to a walk for him with my sister Barb and my parents.

Its a walk to help you heal. Its a wonderful walk that brings us closer together. Its called " Walk To Remember ".

We listen to people tell their stories and recite poems and we also have a balloon release. Its wonderful.

I wouldn't know what I would ever do without my sister and my parents. They've helped make me strong and give me all the support I need.

I've been blessed to have such a wonderful family, and to have an angel sent to me, even though it was only a short time I had him.....I cherish every moment of it.

I remember your Uncle Brian telling me of the night he watched you. He was telling me that when he was getting things ready for bed. He laid a mattress on the floor and you both slept on it and when he woke up he turned and looked at you, and you were just looking at him smiling.

That is something he will never forget. He loved you very much. The whole family loved you very much and miss you dearly.

I miss that precious smile. I miss the laugh you had, and everything about you.

You were an angel here on earth .....a gift .....you brought us joy, love and happiness, and we miss that.

I will never forget the love we shared, and the memories will be with me always.

You will be forever in my heart.

I miss you DJ.

And the pain of you leaving will always be there.

But I know your in good hands and that God missed his little angel and had to have him back in his arms.
I just wish you were in mine. I love you DJ!!!
