LEAMANEH CASTLE
This castle and fortified house was one of the main O'Brian strongholds and played an important part in the history of Clare and the O'Brians. The tower house was built in 1480 and situated at the eastern end of the building. The house adjoining was a 17th century four storey structure and built by Conor O'Brian (To be cont)
