Title: Demonic Intentions, Heavenly Intervention
Author: Atarashii (kitsune_atarashii@hotmail.com)
Rating: PG13; AU (definately)
Pairing: 1+2, 3+4 (later on)
Disclaimer: Gundam Wing Characters aren't mine. The plotline and the created characters/angels/demons are mine. Period. Please don't sue me, as I have nothing you'll want.
Warning: None really, except for real *minor* cursing (not much ^^;;) Um...well...this deals with demons and angels, so uh...if you're *overly* religious, you might not want to read.
Rambling: This is my first Gundam Wing Fanfic. ^_^;;; It's being planned to go more into yaoi later, but right now...it's sort of bland in the non-pairing since. In this part, the plot thickens somewhat and Wufei appears!! Hmm...a little child abuse (*really* minor, though) Oh, just so you have an idea, Wufei's 20 as well. Enjoy, and see, I got it out in a reasonable amount of time despite only being able to type with one hand. -_-;;
Oh...quick thanks to everyone for their comments+support. Thanks!! ^________^ And thanks to Brieanna for beta-ing.

Demonic Intentions, Heavenly Intervention (Part Two)
***
King Winner impatiently tapped his foot on the dias, watching the grand doors that led to the throne room for signs of his only son. After what seemed like hours of waiting, the doors opened. Stepping into the room, Heero left the door open for Quatre, then exited, closing the door behind him. Impassively, the King studied Quatre, then said sharply, "Come here, Quatre."
Silently Quatre did as told, stopping at the foot of the dias. Standing up from the throne, Winner stepped down, a small smile appearing on his face as he noticed the other's nervousness. A robed arm reached out, fingers tracing his youngest child's jawbone. They paused, and a moment passed before Winner struck out, backhanding Quatre roughly and knocking him to the unforgiving dark blue tiled floor.[1]
Barely registering from the slight pain that shot up his body, Quatre hid his flinch, casting blue eyes to the floor below him.
"You disgust me," Winner finally said, eyeing the Prince with contempt. "Why can't you be like your sisters and follow the orders given to you? Do you get a thrill out of having the *peasants* think that I, King Winner, can't even control my own son?! Truly unacceptable." Slowly, he started to pace in front of the heir, hands clasped behind his back. "Certainly not the type of behaviour required nor expected of the Crown Prince of Himmel.[2] Getting no response, Winner paused, eyeing the doors and purposefully ignoring the form before him as he considered how to continue. "Have you not anything to say, Quatre? And *please* get up."
Quatre did so, shaking despite his attempts not to. Slowly, almost hesitantly, the boy shook his head and Winner snorted in distaste. "I heard you attacked a young boy on your unattended, not to mention forbidden, outing." The Prince froze at the statement, eyes widening. At that moment, Winner noted, he looked like a fox which was caught with no means of escape.[3] "So I guess its true. It's a good thing that Commander Heero had been there in time to prevent any bodily harm to the child."
Swallowing deeply, Quatre shook out of his shock, turning pleading eyes to his father. "Father, honestly you don't believe that I would-" with a choked sob, Quatre raised a hand to his reddening cheek, while Winner calmly looked at his hand.
"I believe that sometimes you think that just since you're Crown Prince, you can do whatever you please."
The other just stared at him, at a loss for words.
Casually, Winner continued, "You are confined to your chambers for a fortnight.[4] And I shall be sure to assign a guard outside your door just in case you think about disobeying me again." With a shrill whistle, the doors burst open and Heero and two other guards fell to their knees in front of their King and Prince. Winner gestured for them to stand, then at his still shocked son, "Escort my son to his room, and make sure there's one or two guards outsude his door at all times. If I find out that an assigned guard isn't guarding his door, then it'll be the execution block for disobedience of my orders."[5]
"Yes, your Highness!" The Commander and guards announced in unison.

As he left Duo's 'fortress', Trowa quietly reflected on the conversation he'd had with the violet eyed demon. But more than not, he kept going over his agreement about the Golden Angel. Shrugging carelessly, the emerald eyed youth glanced around him. The dark forests in which many demons lived was as silent as ever, shadows everywhere. Thinking that he might access exactly what made the Golden Angel the feared Angel of the demon world, Trowa calmly reached his hand up to the pendant around his neck.[6]
It was a simple sapphire stone, cut into the shape of a teardrop, hanging on an elegant silver chain.
"Come to me, Kage[7]," he whispered, watching as from the shadows of the nearby trees, a darker form appeared. The creature's golden eyes landed on its master and creator, and it issued a low growl. Smiling faintly, Trowa ran his hand over its black-furred back, mindful of the dark, silver tinted dragon wings. As gentle hands scratched behind his long, tip-pointed ears, a bushy tail swished behind it. "My Draken,[8] I've promised Duo to see to a problem of his. Most likely I'll need your help as well as the others'."
In reply, the Draken bowed its head, crouching down so that Trowa could mount its back. Without another word, Trowa did so. Once certain that he wouldn't fall off, Kage spread his wings, stretching them before lifting into the air. As they headed out of the darkness, Trowa mentally braced himself for whatever was to come.

Helic looked at his master nervously, noting that the demon didn't seem to be in a good mood. Slumped in the chair he'd been sitting in since Trowa's visit, the usually cheerful demon was not himself. Eyes stared blankly at the facing wall, while fingers nervously played with his braid. Finally, after minutes of silence, he spoke, "Helic, head to Himmel and keep an eye on Trowa for me."
His guard blinked, "Don't you trust Sire Barton, Master Duo?"
"Of course, Helic. There's no reason not to. It's just...I wish for you to watch his actions. See if he falters. Yet, if he manages to get the Golden Angel without killing him, I wish for him to be brought to me."
Seeing the warning spark in the other's eyes if he dared question further, Helic straightened up and saluted smartly.
"I'll get right on it, Master Duo."

Wearing a white tunic tied around the waist with a black sash, the Swordsman silently plodded towards the city. His thoughts drifted to the village he had left, heart clenching at the thought. He had been the reason that his clan and beloved wife were dead. If he had only been there sooner.
Soul Eaters were demons who hungered for souls and would attack anything which had one. Luckily, such demons were rare, but impossible to avoid at times. Using the magic his specially crafted sword held, Wufei had killed the two whom had attacked his people.[9] But it was already too late.
Withdrawing slightly, Wufei shook his head to clear the memories, his exression never wavering as he reached the outskirts of Himmel.

With a muffled curse, the angel picked himself up, golden eyes darkened as he glared at the other. Vier slapped Eine on the back, grin lopsided as he shook his head, "Show some spirit, Eine!"
"Shut up, Vier." the older one snapped, irritated by the younger angel's antics. Smile flickered to a frown, and Vier backed away, hands up.
"Oi, no need to be so negative, Eine. Remember what you are."
"If I'm a fucking angel, then where are the props?!"
"Woah...language check, Eine," Vier raised an eyebrow, green eyes sparkling playfully, "The only way to get close to Quatre is to act like we're one of the people of Himmel. Which wouldn't work if we have wings and halos. Don't worry, Eine. Nothing can go wrong and once we break the shields, we'll be back to normal."
Eine's scowl deepened, "Are you certain you weren't meant to be a demon?"
The other winked, "Of course. Besides, being mortal won't be so bad!!"
"..."
"Live a little!"
"..."
"..."
"...Usually that isn't really required since I'm an ANGEL!!"
A few peasants passing by shot the pair strange looks, and Eine glared at them Timidly, a young boy approached them, tugging on Eine's pants. Frowning, he looked down into the child's wide, crimson eyes. "What?" he snapped.
"E'cuse me, m'ster, but you aren't 'llowed to talk 'bout angels here." the boy said solemnly. Both Vier and Eine blinked at him. "It's a'ainst the law."
"Why?" Vier finally managed.
"'Cause King Winner despises angels an' people say it's 'cause his wife left him to resume life as one."
Silence met the reply.

[1] King Winner (shall be referred to as 'Winner') really despises Quatre. It's sort of the fact because his features resembles that of his mother, whom left Winner shortly after he was born. The reason he 'beats' Quatre is because he finds faults in the other which he believes to see, and takes out anger on those believed flaws.
[2] Himmel means 'Heaven' in German. -_-;; Strange name for a kingdom, I know
[3] I know the more common saying is 'a deer caught in headlights' (or something like that), but in this time, cars don't exist. Since fox hunts were popular...I improvised.
[4] Fortnight is fourteen days, in simpler terms, two weeks.
[5] Winner is a strict ruler, and sometimes his punishments can be pretty extreme.
[6] By 'access'ing Quatre, he means 'scope/check' out...not in the romantic sense though
[7] Kage means 'shadow' in Japanese
[8] Draken means 'dragon' in German. It's what Trowa calls his created guardian, Kage. It has a body like a jaguar/panther, a bushy sort of tail which is a cross between a wolf and fox (more wolfish though) and black, silver-tinted dragon wings.
[9] Wufei has the ability to kill demons with his sword.
I believe the last scene bit with Vier and Eine could've been better, but oh well. Hope you enjoy 'Demonic Intentions' so far. ^_^ All feedback can be sent over to kitsune_atarashii@hotmail.com *or* inarisama@yahoo.com. Hopefully I can get the next installment out soon.
