The town was shrouded in haar and so
your correspondent headed for the hills to get a better view. For
a while it seemed that even on the Dava Moor the spectacle would be missed.
But on cue the ring appeared little by little to give a sight that will
not be seen again in Scotland until 2093. An unforgettable moment.
