 Welcome to my world. My name is Amanda but you can call me Mandy. So to begin my story, I was conceived, born and finally grew older. I won't say I grew up cause I never want to. A childs mind is what I intend to keep to keep me sane in this crazy world we live in.  Full Name = Amanda Lynn Delancey (Hagy) I am a dreamer. In short that means I prefer to dream rather than to seek. In long that means I am always dreaming of things I do not understand or cannot aquire., such as the universe and the whole meaning of life and love. I strive to find the absolute truth in this world to which many say there is none. I believe there is if we search long enough. I constantly search for that certain something to fill a void I cannot place. I feel I have no direction. I am always flying blind seeming like I am a lost child. I don't open myself up to anyone anymore as I have been hurt way too many times to count. I search for honesty in everyone I meet and only a few have possesed it. I also look for their ability to feel; to show that they are as human as myself. I always try to treat others the way that I would like to be treated. For each one of us is unique in our own way with our own desires and dreams, No one is perfect and no one is better than the next person, we are all one in the universe. I also never judge people, I take them how they are. For I have been the one that has stood to be judged and so I have made this electronic device my safe haven for all time.

I do not have many friends outside these four walls. It hasn't alsways been so but too many people have looked upon surface value and so I hide myself away hoping to enlighten people with my writings. I never had many friends in school growing up, I seemed to be the one no one liked and even though I have realized that It was a childs thing, immature AND long ago, It still has a big impact on my life and the way I view the world. Being an outcast does have its drawbacks. I just wish that the kids that hurt other kids by what they say would realize that words do hurt and they sometimes have a lasting effect, even into adulthood. I am a writer of life, love, and happiness. I write poetry and short stories about things that I dream. I write about the things I long for whether make believe or real.
